Big Farm: Mobile Harvest Guide: 9 Tips, Cheats & Tricks to Grow Your Farm

The hit farm management game has finally come to mobile devices! Big Farm: Mobile Harvest has just been released by Goodgame Studios for iOS and Android devices. In this game, you have inherited a farm from your Uncle George. The problem is, it has been neglected for years, and what you really get is a piece of land with overgrown weeds all over. It will be up to you to restore this land to its former glory. You will have to clear the overgrowth, plant and harvest crops, raise farm animals, and upgrade the farm in order to make it a viable business. Don’t worry, though. You can always rely on our Big Farm: Mobile Harvest tips and tricks to help you build your dream farm!

1. Complete All The Missions

The game guides you through in-game missions. While you are free to build and manage your farm however you like, it is best that you follow the missions as much as you can. This ensures that your farm’s development is on track and that you don’t waste money investing in things that you don’t really need yet. If you need another reason to do the missions, you would be pleased to know that they also give you various rewards that would boost your progress even more.

2. Continuously Upgrade Structures

Upgrading structures in Big Farm: Mobile Harvest takes a while to complete. On top of that, you can only upgrade one structure at a time. Unless you have a lot of cash to burn on speeding things up, it is a good idea to keep your progress going by constantly upgrading things. Make sure you always have a building being upgraded. Of course, that doesn’t mean you should just upgrade the first building you see. Check which structures can be upgraded and choose which one would give the most benefits once completed. For example, upgrading your farmhouse first is a good choice because it will cut all constructions times by 10%.

3. Plant The Right Crops

Crops have different harvest times. Knowing what crop to plant helps make sure you maximize your production. When you log into the game, try to plant short-term crops like corn so that you can harvest multiple times before you are done playing for the day. Before you log off from the game, make sure you harvest the remaining short-term crops and replace them with ones that will take several hours to be ready.

4. Find An Active Co-Op

A cooperative is a group of players similar to guilds in other games. This connects you with other players and allows you to donate loyalty points. Of course, if you have active co-op members, you will also be receiving loyalty points. These points can be used to purchase items from the special store. Loyalty points can be donated every 10 hours which means you could donate twice a day if you are really active.

5. Link Your Facebook Account

The game gives you the option to link your Facebook account, so you can invite your real-life friends to play. You get free Gold every time someone joins because of your invite. Since Gold is the premium currency of the game, you would want to take advantage of every chance to get it for free. Inviting a lot of friends to play the game is one way to earn a lot of Gold quickly. You can even start a co-op with your friends so that it is easier to ensure everyone is active!

6. Give Your Dog Some Treats

In case you forgot, you have a pet dog who is waiting for you just outside of your farm. Look for the dog house to the north-western part of the map. You can give your dog a free treat which will then reward you with various items. Rewards from giving your dog some treats are often free items that you can use to upgrade your Market.

7. Maximize Your Farm’s Space

Even if you have a lot of money, the game restricts your ability to expand your farm depending on your level. On one hand, it is a way to ensure you don’t bite off more than you can chew while you are still learning the game. On the other hand, it can be extremely frustrating when you are trying to find space for additional structures. You may need to rearrange a few things in order to fit more structures into your land early on. After a while, though, you would be able to adjust.

8. Check The Market For Orders

Market orders are like special quests that give you the chance to earn some additional money and experience. These orders offer decent prices for your items, so it is a good way to get rid of things you don’t really need. Try to complete orders as much as you can in order to progress in the game faster. Don’t forget to upgrade your Market as well. You will need various items for upgrades, but the bonuses you get will be worth the added work. Prioritize income and experience gain when upgrading. After that, you can upgrade the rest of the Market. The goal is to prioritize upgrades that will have the most benefits for your game.

9. Slow And Steady Wins The Race

Big Farm: Mobile Harvest is meant to be played over a long period of time. That means you should not get discouraged if you don’t succeed right away. Just do your daily tasks and you will eventually build towards better structures for your farm. Keep in mind that more features get unlocked as you progress in the game. Unlocking these added features will help keep you entertained. Things get more interesting as you gain access to even more structures. You just need to have the patience to work towards building a better farm.

Managing a farm on your own can be challenging but it is also very rewarding. With a lot of elbow grease, and the help of our Big Farm: Mobile Harvest tips, cheats and tricks, your dream farm should be up and running in no time!
