Zootopia Crime Files: Hidden Object is out now for Android and iOS mobile devices, and depending on which part of the world you’re located, it may also be known as Zootropolis Crime Files: Hidden Object. Strangely enough, Disney has released this game with different titles per market, but the bottom line is that it’s the same game based on the movie Zootopia, one where you look for hidden objects as you team up with ZPD’s police officers. You can collect clues as you try to investigate crimes, and activate special abilities depending on character, allowing you to solve crimes and catch the bad guys faster. You’ll also be able to discover different places within Zootopia, including Savanna Central Station, Lemming Bros. Bank, Little Rodentia, and more.
This is far from the first time Disney has released a mobile game based on a popular movie it’s recently released, and just like those other games, the company has made sure to make this title as unique as possible, regardless of its name. 1. Keep On Replaying The Same Scene
All of the cases in this game come with scenes which have to be completed. The game will also be quick to ask you to take a look at new scenes, even just one time. But you shouldn’t let that bother you, as you can replay the scenes as often as you want. Even if you repeat a scene multiple times, the objects in there won’t move, and that should allow you to remember where everything was the last time you played the scene, and complete things faster and with less of a hassle. Keep on replaying scenes, and make sure you do them in order (e.g. replay one scene repeatedly before the next), as that’s the best way for you to get the maximum five stars.
2. Use The First Few Seconds Of A Scene To Study It
Once you start a new scene, you’ll get a few seconds to check out the screen before the timer starts ticking. You should use that quick period of time to look for unusual items. You might not be able to spot one during those few seconds, but it’s always a good idea to try looking and to make the most of that time.
In addition, the time required to analyze items on screen will go down as you take on new missions, so it will become more important than ever for you to analyze as soon as possible, and try to do it as quickly as you could. And if you don’t have any concurrent tasks to do while analyzing things, use that opportunity to play or replay new scenes, and to make the most out of the energy you have.
3. Save The Free Hints For When They’re Absolutely Necessary
The game will allow you to use some hints that can help you solve a new scene faster. It’s best to choose the helping hand that comes with more than one hint when beginning a new scene, and to choose, in particular, the option with the most available hints. You won’t know the scene and where the objects are placed in the early goings, so if you want to make the most out of the time bonus, you should get more hints than needed. Still, don’t use them unless you really need them, as unused hints add to your total score, and thusly your chances of getting three stars.
Also, when replaying scenes, choose the free support that will only give you one hint, and use that hint only when necessary.
4. Stringing Together Longer Combos Means More Points
If you’re able to tap on more than one correct item consecutively, you’ll be able to string together a longer combo. So if you see a few items to tap on, do so as quickly as possible, as opposed to tapping on them gradually. And if you’re having a hard time looking for something to tap on, you may zoom in to get a better view. Off-screen items are showed grayed out, which should give you more clues as to what you should be searching for or tapping on.
5. Choose The Scene With The Lowest Required Score For A Star
It’s a pretty common sense tip, but whenever you’re choosing a scene to play, you should choose the one with the lowest required score in order for you to get a star. You might want to gravitate more toward the scene that you’ve mastered better than others, but if the required score is lower in another scene, you may go there instead and be able to get more things done in less time. You may, in specific, try the jigsaw scene before others, as that’s quite a quick one to complete, one that should take a few seconds for you to put the pieces together. Similarly, timed stages are surprisingly a good way for you to earn additional stars, as the game will keep feeding you new objects to check out.
6. How To Get More Energy Fast
Once you’ve completed a case, you’ll still be able to replay the scenes and add to your stars. This works best with scenes you completed with only one or two star, as each new star you earn in your succeeding playthroughs will get you one unit of energy per new star earned.
7. Don’t Spend Your Bucks On Analysis
Our final tip here would be a don’t, rather than a do. Don’t use your bucks in any case to speed up the analysis process. While there are some items that can be analyzed in just a couple minutes and some items that can take hours, it’ll only be a waste of bucks to expedite the analysis process. It’s best to be patient, and to spend your downtime on productive things such as gaining stars through the replay of older scenes.
