Happy Wheels Cheats & Strategy Guide: 4 Awesome Tips to Complete More Levels

Happy Wheels is a side-scrolling, physics-based obstacle course game available for iOS devices, created by a guy named Jim Bonacci. He does warn you that you’ll be playing the role of an inadequately prepared racer as you try to go for victory while ignoring the consequences. And when talking consequences, we mean spikes, mines, and all sorts of dangerous obstacles – these could make for some gruesome, yet often hilarious endings. You can even create your own levels in the game’s editor, if you’re not satisfied with the 15 already-challenging levels available.

This is a fun, if a bit gory game, but there’s nothing fun about repeatedly losing due to your racer’s ineptitude. That’s why we are recommending that you check out our compilation of Happy Wheels cheats, tips and hints to help your racer, well, survive a little longer. Or a lot longer.

1. Keep It Slow And Steady

When starting a new level, you want to go nice and easy in the first few rounds. Hitting an obstacle too quickly will almost always kill you in a gruesome, bloody manner, and you might not even know it until it happens. It’s best to approach an obstacle slowly so that way, you’ll know how to avoid it if you get killed the first time around.

2. You Can Play (Almost) Any Level Any Time

The good thing about Happy Wheels is that you can play most of the levels from the get-go; this isn’t a game where you need to play the levels in order. However, it’s still smartest to start out with the easier levels before you move on to the hard ones. You wouldn’t want to jump right away to Level 15 out of 15 for Business Guy, even if you beat the first five ones; that’s only going to be counter-productive.

3. Game Too Slow? Go To The Settings

We’re talking in-game settings here, as you can change Max Particle settings if your iPhone or iPad is finding the game too slow. However, this would typically be an issue only on older devices, and not the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, for instance. A low Max Particle setting will reduce the blood spatters, which will also reduce the gore in the game – a great feature, we’d say, for the weak of heart among us.

4. You Can’t Unlock The Other Characters Yet

This is a fairly new game, so the additional characters that the game is supposed to include won’t be available yet as of this writing. Other hilariously incompetent characters include, but are not limited to the Pogo Stick Guy, Effective Shopper, Irresponsible Dad, and more. But you can always head back to the iOS App Store to see if there’s a new update available, or set up your iDevice to automatically update your apps, Happy Wheels included.

Additionally, we should also inform you that while the level editor feature does work, Happy Wheels still doesn’t have a way for you to share those levels with others, or check out other player-created levels.
