Nitro Racing GO Beginner’s Guide: 11 Tips, Cheats & Strategies to Dominate Races

Nitro Racing GO is ThunderBull’s brand new racing game for iOS and Android mobile devices. This game is a combination of racing mechanics and idle clicking. You will be in charge of assembling your own race car, from the steering wheel, right down to the rims. You will also have to upgrade the different parts in order to improve its performance. Don’t forget to hire crew members to help you out. Each crew member has different skills to offer, so make sure you hire the right ones. Back on the race track, there is still much to be done. You need to tap furiously in order to improve your performance rating. The faster you tap, the higher your rating will be. This will determine whether or not you can overtake the next racer. The streets of Dubai can be very unforgiving. Make sure you read our Nitro Racing GO cheats, tips and strategies before hitting the road!

1. Focus On Upgrades

No matter how fast you tap, you will eventually realize that it won’t be enough. You may win the first few races by depending solely on manual tapping, but after a while, you will struggle to catch up with other cars. Make sure you take time to purchase upgrades for your car. The more upgrades you get, the easier it will be to pass other cars. As an added bonus, upgrades also increase the amount of cash you get from passing a competitor. That means if you don’t buy those upgrades, you will be missing out on that extra cash.

2. Prioritize Expensive Upgrades

The only time that it will be alright for you to hold off on upgrading is if you are close to being able to afford a more expensive one. The bigger the upgrade, the more benefits you get. That means it is better to spend 1,000 cash on one major upgrade than invest the same amount in smaller ones. Of course, if it will take too long for you to buy the next upgrade, you can settle for the minor ones until you have better cash flows.

3. Aim For Upgrade Milestones

Similarly to other idle games, upgrades in Nitro Racing GO have milestones. That means if you hit a certain level of upgrades, you can unlock special perks one top of the increase in cash earned. Milestones are at levels 10, 25, 50, and so on. Some of the perks you can unlock from milestones include better performance for the upgraded part, increased chance to activate a temporary nitro boost, and overall improvement in the performance of your car. If you are close to hitting a milestone for a certain part, make sure you prioritize investing in it over the others.

4. Skills Are Useful Too

Your car is not the only thing that needs attention. You also have skills that can be unlocked and upgraded. These skills can be game changers if you know how to use them properly. Make sure you carefully red the different effects of each skill in order to determine which ones you want. Keep in mind that they need to be manually activated, and they will go on cooldown after you use them. One of the best skills you can unlock in the game, though, is the auto-clicker which will allow you to keep racing without having to tap.

5. Don’t Forget To Purchase Boosters

You will face a boss at the end of every race. Once you defeat them, you will receive special coins. These coins can be used to purchase Boosters. These contain random car parts and crew members that you can use to upgrade existing ones. Purchase Boosters whenever you have the chance in order to greatly increase your performance in the game.

6. Check Your Achievements

At the top of the screen there’s a trophy icon. This is where you will find the Achievements. These Achievements are milestones that you reach within the game. You will know when you have gotten an Achievement as it will pop up on your screen. In case you miss that message, though, you will also see an exclamation point on the trophy icon. Tap on it in order to claim your rewards. Achievement prizes include gems, coins, and even blueprints, so keep an eye on the trophy!

7. How To Beat The Bosses

For all other cars, you just need to keep tapping and you will eventually overtake them. For the boss cars, however, you need to be faster than them or you will lose. Boss cars have their own acceleration bar, so you will be able to see if you can beat them or not. When you challenge a boss car, you will see your usual green PR bar, but there will be a smaller red bar below it. The red bar is the boss car’s acceleration.

Skills will come in handy during boss battles because they can give you that oomph you need even if you don’t have enough upgrades. If you cannot fill up your bar faster than the red one, you will lose the match. Don’t worry too much if you lose, though. You will be able to continue racing against regular cars until you save up enough upgrades to challenge the boss again.

8. Look For Armored Vehicles

Once in a while, you will see a white van that is blowing cash out its back. When you encounter these vans, you don’t need to do anything special to get the extra cash. Just keep tapping furiously until you overtake them. Overtaking a cash van will reward you with more cash compared to passing regular vehicles. They also count towards you race progress, so there is really no reason for you to let these vans get away!

9. Rise In Ranks

There are 10 circuits in Nitro Racing GO, and each one is made up of five races. You can see this at the top of your screen as it is indicated by four circles plus a larger one in the middle. Each time you complete a race, one of the circles will get a green checkmark. Every time you complete a league, you will be rewarded with various prizes. You will also have the option to start a new competition.

10. Watch Ads For Freebies

As you progress in a race, you will sometimes see speed lines. The game will tell you to swipe towards those speed lines. When you do, you will be offered a random reward for watching a video advertisement. Rewards are usually insignificant amounts of cash, but what you are really after is the reward for watching five ads. Every five ads you watch will give you a blueprint. These are needed for unlocking new cars in the game, so make sure you watch an ad every chance you get.

11. Reset Your Game

Starting a new competition is the equivalent of prestige in other idle games. In Nitro Racing GO you can find this option at the top of the Skills tab, but it is only available after you complete Bronze League V. This means you will reset all your progress, skills, and upgrades. What you do keep, however, are all the boosters and non-cash currencies that you have acquired throughout your run. You will also earn credits that can be used for hiring and upgrading crew members. Crew members give you permanent boosts, so it is always a good idea to have a few of them working on your team.
