LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Tips, Cheats & Guide to Explore the Galaxy

It’s been months since Star Wars: The Force Awakens captivated fans of the franchise from all over the world, but it’s only now that Warner Bros. has released this new title based on the movie – LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This game gives you the chance to play as the various characters from the movie, including Finn, Rey, BB-8, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, and even its main antagonist Kylo Ren. Of course, all these characters will be in LEGO form, and aside from reliving memorable moments from The Force Awakens, the game promises a chance to experience previously untold story levels that explore the time leading up to Star Wars: The Force awakens. You can choose from a variety of building options through the game’s Multi-Builds system, take part in high-speed arena-based aerial battles, and get dibs on new content by purchasing the All Content Season Pass.

Those are some of the game’s features, but what about playing the game and enjoying some success in it? This is a brand-new title, having only been released a few days ago on the Apple App Store, with no version available for Android as of the moment. But you can join us for this LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens strategy guide, as we walk you through the different aspects of the game, but with a focus on helping you complete the first chapter.

1. Keep On Breaking Those Objects

In this game’s levels, you will be asked to reach True Jedi status in terms of studs collected. So how do you reach this elusive status? Just keep on picking up as many studs as possible, and do this by breaking any object you set your sights on. Although LEGO blocks may not be easy to break in real life, you can break them easily in this game with a little patience; just smash the objects a certain number of times, so that they break and release a ton of studs. Make sure you pick up the gold studs first, as these are the ones with the most value, and keep an eye out on the stud bar on top of your screen, so you know how many more studs you need to collect to reach True Jedi status.

2. String Together Combos To Add To Your Multiplier

By killing more enemies, you can fill up the yellow meter located to the left side of your character’s avatar. Fill that meter up by stringing together combos, if you can call them that – this would mean getting rid of as many consecutive enemies as possible. Once you’ve filled the yellow bar up, you’ll get a 2x multiplier, and any studs you pick up while the multiplier is active will be worth twice their usual value. Remember not to pick up any studs just yet if you’re in a situation where you’re close to filling up your meter.

3. Take Advantage Of The Side Quests

Side quests are often seen to be unimportant and optional, but in many games, it’s highly recommended that you take them on so that you can earn more rewards. Since we gather most of you are aiming to simply be done with the first chapter, we shall focus on that initial chapter on the following tips below.

4. Tips For Village Retreat Side Quests

The first side quest under Village Retreat is called No DESERTing, where you have to be on the lookout for pots that have villagers sticking out. Simply break the pots to free the villagers, and allow them to continue fighting. For the seconds quest, A Load of All Bloggins, you’ll have to use BB-8, and jump the moment you see a bloggin so that BB-8 can ride on them. You will then have to ride the bloggins back to their pens.

5. Tips For First Order Assault Side Quests

Let’s start with Cover Commander, where you are asked to make it to the cover section while retaining 100 percent of your health. This is one side quest where you should be taking your time, and playing it as smartly as possible. Take cover while the Stormtroopers are firing, and start aiming once they’re done. You’ll be able to sneak some attacks on them for a couple seconds after they fire.

The second side quest here is called Don’t Spill a Drop, and it is just how it sounds like. Your goal is to extinguish the fire at the end of the level, and do so perfectly and precisely. Start by building the middle object, once the game notifies you of the three-way build option. This will allow BB-8 to rotate the water tank completely to the left. After that, destroy the switch, then rebuild that switch, but only on the left side instead. Leap onto the bounce pad so that the water tank fills up. Wait till the water tank is completely filled up, then destroy the switch. Rebuild the switch as the middle switch, move the water tank to the extreme right, and rebuild the switch on the right. Once that’s all done, fire Poe’s gun at the target so that the water spills out and extinguishes the fire, without any drops of water weasted.

6. Tips For Jakku Graveyard Side Quests

The side quests here are pretty easy and straight to the point, but in any case, the first one is called The Brave Little Droid. As the title suggests, you have to switch to BB-8, and kill five Teedos while using him. The second, which is called A Proper Scavenger, requires you to destroy all the breakable objects once you’ve entered the Destroyer. This may sound as easy as the first side quest, but it’s also easy to miss a couple of objects while in the heat of the action. It might be a good idea to take your time and fully explore the Destroyer so you don’t miss any objects inadvertently.
