Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle Cheats, Tips & Strategy Guide to Solve All Puzzles

Do you ever wonder how serial killers in movies always manage to catch their victims? The victims run around as much as they can, but as soon as they stop, the killer’s right there with them. Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle shows you exactly how the horror icon Jason Voorhees does it. As it turns out, serial killing involves a lot of strategy. Available on Android, iOS, and Steam, this unique puzzle game lets you control Jason as he goes on a killing spree. You will need to guide him through supermax prisons, ski resorts, and other locations to ensure he can brutally murder everyone without getting caught.

The game is divided into eight episodes which are further divided into puzzles. Solve over a hundred puzzles in order to complete your murderous spree. Traps, cops, SWAT teams, and other obstacles are waiting for you, so it won’t be easy. Luckily, you have our Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle cheats, tips and strategy guide to help you!

1. Use The Rewind Button Strategically

When you are trying to kill a lot of people, you will have to always think a few steps ahead. You also have to be very careful in the steps you take because one wrong move can spell your doom. While it is true that most man-made traps can’t really kill Jason, it can be inconvenient to have to start the puzzle over when you fail. It’s a good thing the game gives you a one-step rewind that lets you take back any missteps you might make. Don’t be afraid to use it because there is no limit to the number of times it can be used.

2. Unlock New Weapons

There are several weapons available in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, including a spear, a bat, and Jason’s signature machete. Unlocking them will allow you to kill the victims in different ways. While it does not have any impact on gameplay, no horror flick fan should pass up the opportunity to watch the different deaths. Keep unlocking all the weapons and enjoy the bloodbath!

3. Go On A Murder Marathon

It’s not the healthy kind of marathon. At least not for the victims. The Murder Marathon lets you go on an endless killing spree. You can just keep going as long as you don’t die. Of course, the victims will be harder to kill the further you progress in your spree. You will need to be extra careful if you want to get far in this mode. It does not have a story, but it is fun to play when you just feel like killing a lot of people.

4. Try The Daily Death Levels

Are you confident in your murdering skills? Try out the Daily Death mode. This mode gives you a new level to complete each day. When you complete the Daily Death levels for several consecutive days, you will be rewarded with a rare weapon or other rare items. If you only have limited time to play each day, make sure you squeeze in the Daily Death level.

5. How To Access New Levels

There are different locations in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, but not all of them are immediately available. You will need to complete a certain number of levels in one location before you can access the next set of levels. For example, if you want to access the levels for Orange is the New Dead, you will need to complete a number levels from Crystal Lake Memories first. Don’t worry because you don’t need to complete all the levels in one location. You just need to meet the specified number of level wins.

6. Scare Victims to Death

Jason is such a scary villain that he can make anyone run away in fear. Use this to your advantage. There are several deadly traps in the game, and they kill anyone who falls into them. All you have to do is position yourself in front of your prospective victim to make them run in the opposite direction. Keep scaring your victims until they accidentally fall into one of the traps out of fear. This is a great way to deal with multiple victims without having to catch them personally.

7. Watch Where You Slide

One of the main challenges in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is movement. Whenever Jason moves in one direction, he will keep going until he hits a block. That means you can accidentally fall into traps if you are not careful. Always analyze the layout of the map and think of how you can use the different objects to stop yourself from flying off the wrong direction. You can always use the rewind button if you miscalculate a step. The key is figuring out early enough if you should rewind or not. Try to imagine Jason’s path for the next two or three moves. It’s not enough to know there is an object to stop him, you should also think about where he can go after that. Otherwise, you might get him stuck in a difficult position.

Another thing you should keep in mind when moving is when you attempt to push a victim into a trap. It is true that you can do this, and you won’t fall into the trap yourself because the body of the victim will stop you. That does not mean you should always do this. A kill can be enticing but you could still end up in an unwinnable situation if you charge at your victim without thinking ahead.

8. Increase Your Bloodlust

Whenever you complete a level, your Bloodlust will increase. You will get more weapons to kill with when your Bloodlust rank goes up. To increase your Bloodlust quickly, you will need to master killing a victim right in the Killzone marker of the sliding bar. It takes a bit of practice, but after a while, you will be able to consistently hit the Killzone.

The Killzone won’t always be in the same spot. If you are lucky, it will be near the edges of the bar, making it easier to hit. If you miss the bar, you will fail to kill the victim, and you will end up with lower Bloodlust. The good news is you can always watch video advertisements in order to gain more Bloodlust.

9. Conquering Timed Levels

Some levels will require you to complete all the killings within a time limit. Make sure you think on your feet in these levels because you can’t afford to keep making mistakes. While you can still use the rewind button in these levels, you could still fail because of the timer. When you have made too many mistakes in a game, it is better to just go ahead and restart since you will most likely fail the level anyway.

Grab your favorite weapon because it is time to go on a murder spree in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle! Remember everything you learned from our strategy guide and you will be chopping off heads with ease!
