Not only do you need to get rid of the frosting that keeps them from moving out; you would also have to prepare for those tiny creatures. And they could dart from area to area on your board, or find cover in the tightest spot on the board. 1. Familiarize Yourself With How The Pufflers Operate
In our previous Candy Crush Jelly Saga strategy guide, we gave you a backgrounder of sorts on how the Pufflers tend to work – they hide behind the frosting, which you will then need to get rid of. If the board’s got a ton of frosting, that serves as an open invitation to Pufflers to keep on hiding beneath it. Remember that with each Puffler-revealing move you make, that Puffler will keep on running and hiding from you. Come up with a sound strategy before playing the game, and take your time for the best chances of success.
2. Remove That Frosting
We may have already given you some advice on the first tip, and just to recap, that would require you to remove frosting on the board without giving you full view of the Pufflers right away. Get rid of the frosting in the hardest-to-reach places in the game, such as the corners, because you don’t want any Pufflers hiding out there. You can also try to cripple the route if you wish; that will render the Puffler motionless. Remember that Pufflers only move around in uninterrupted areas with a lot of frosting, so try to block the route if the opportunity arises.
3. Lure Them In With Special Candy
The special pieces on the board could take away huge chunks off what you see on it, and if you want to catch some Pufflers, it’s a good idea to make use of as many special candies as possible. If you completely reveal the Pufffler even if there was a whole lot of frosting on the in-game board, you will collect that Puffler. Try using as many striped candies as possible for best results.
4. Take Stock Of The Situation
As you’ll be able to see the Pufflers before the start of a level, you will then want to find where they are located. Try slightly revealing the Pufflers and coaxing them into moving around if they’re trapped in a corner or any difficult-to-reach place. Also follow their trail as they scream while moving on the board; keep a close eye on the frosting the Pufflers are shaking and you’ll know more about their hiding places.
