BitLife Master of the Elements Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Master of the Elements Challenge

BitLife is a game that keeps getting bigger and better, and while it is quite unrecognizable from how it was even just a few years ago, there is one constant that hasn’t really changed as it keeps driving the five-plus-year-old game’s replay value.

Of course, we’re talking about the weekly challenges, which you can also opt to complete at a later time if you’re willing to pay a one-time fee for the Challenge Vault. The themes of these challenges may vary, and some may be based on popular IPs, famous people, or current trends, but there are also simpler ones that hearken back to the first few challenges that were launched in the last few months of 2019 and the earlier parts of 2020.

This week’s BitLife challenge has a rather classic feel to it, as it doesn’t seem to have any basis in any pop culture property and there is some grinding involved. And if you’ve been waiting for challenges with six tasks or requirements instead of the usual four or five, this one is for you, as the Master of the Elements Challenge has six, with five of them corresponding to each of the elements.

That said, this is a comparatively easy challenge compared to most that we’ve seen this year, though if you’re having some trouble figuring things out and completing it, we suggest you keep reading this week’s BitLife mini-strategy guide, which includes everything you need to know about the Master of the Elements Challenge.

Take the Construction Worker Job for a Bit, Make Fireman Your Career

When creating a character for BitLife’s Master of the Elements Challenge, there’s no need to pay close attention to any one particular stat, just as long as your character is a male born in Nepal. After that, you can live your early life any way you wish, just as long as you graduate from high school, or as they call it in Nepal, Upper Secondary School.

You don’t need to stay too long in your Construction Worker job, which, of course, takes care of the Earth element — resigning from it after a few years won’t nullify the completion of the task. Instead, what you want to do is to focus on the Fire element, that being working as a Fireman. Promotion should come fast and furious after you get the job as a Probationary Fireman, which is lowest in the pecking order in the Fireman career, and the introductory salary is considerably more than that of a Construction Worker.

With that in mind, you should definitely reach a point in the challenge where you can afford the two comparatively expensive items you need later on in it — the aircraft and the jet ski.

Do Not Become Best Friends with Anyone Else After Dating Your Current Best Friend!

The Heart aspect of Master of the Elements has to do with marrying your best friend, but before that, you’ll first need to make one — you can start at school in order to build up the relationship through the years, or you can make friends at work. Just wait for the prompt where they ask if they can be best friends with you, and as a bonus tip for this part of the challenge, it may be best to keep a short list of friends instead of accepting any and all friend requests.

One reason for this is that after you’ve started going out with your best friend, you wouldn’t want multiple prompts through the years where regular friends ask if they can be your new best friend. Doing so will uncheck the requirement and force you to restart at square one, so if someone asks if they can be best friends and you’re already dating the last one, then turn down the request.

bitlife marriage

As usual, the same tips for marriage apply — choose good locations to propose, buy a ring if you have to, and don’t mind the prenup as it wouldn’t have any impact on challenge completion. You would, however, want to avoid having kids just yet, as in most cases, every cent counts when it comes to the final two requirements of the Master of the Elements Challenge.

You Need a License to Operate Your Plane and Jet Ski

Planes and jet skis may sound like expensive equipment, but fortunately, you will eventually be able to afford one of each on your firefighter’s salary. Just choose the cheapest plane available, take out a loan if your bank balance is fairly close to the price of the plane, and when it comes to the jet ski, these are actually quite affordable compared to other types of boats or similar vehicles — typically, these cost under $20,000 in Nepal. You may have to do some quitting and restarting BitLife before you see a plane in your price range, so be patient on this one — you should be able to find planes (or hot air balloons) that cost less than $40,000.

While you will be able to purchase a jet ski right off the bat, take note that you wouldn’t be allowed to operate it without a boating license. The same applies to your (presumably cheap) plane, as you’ll need to pay for 40 hours of flight school and take your pilot’s license test. As is always the case with these tests, which aren’t as easy to ace as the driver’s license test, you can turn to Google for the answers, and if all else fails, it’s as easy as quitting and restarting in hopes of getting an easier question.

Purchase your plane and jet ski, use each of them at least once, and you’re good — that should cover the Air and Water part of Master of the Elements and assuming you’ve completed the other requirements, you can claim the usual prize of a new hat or a new piece of eyewear from one of the four prize chests.
