Exos Heroes Rare Characters Tier List: Our Picks for the Best Rare-Grade Heroes

It has been 8 months since Exos Heroes was launched globally and as its playerbase and fans continue to grow, it maintains respectable spots in top lists of mobile games in several countries. There are a lot of contributing factors that can be attributed to its success. It could be the more than 200 characters, the superb graphics and gameplay, the volume of content, the stylish skills in battle, or it may very well be the perfect mix of all these factors. For both newbies and veteran strategy players alike, Exos Heroes certainly has a lot to offer to keep you immersed in its world for a long time.

If you have just started diving into the world of Exos Heroes and still in the process of grasping its many features and mechanics along with finding efficient ways to power up your heroes, then we suggest you look into our Exos Heroes beginner’s guide as it outlines the basic features of the game and provides loads of tips and strategies to jumpstart your adventure.

With a plethora of characters classified under each grade, it can be a challenge, especially for beginners to identify the ones that are more worth investing in. Although you will naturally have to spend resources on a wide range of units later on, having a system of prioritization based on needs, which can be influenced by tier lists is important.

Whether you are going for a reroll or not, having a good idea about what each hero can do will help you systematize how you invest in each one of them. To help you decide, check out our Exos Heroes fated tier list and Exos Heroes legendary tier list to give you an idea about our comparative valuation of heroes belonging to these grades.

exos heroes rare heroes

As Exos Heroes is a team-based game, simply lumping in together the best heroes will not necessarily have the best results. Although it cannot be felt as easily in the early chapters of the story, some of the game modes will present a challenge that requires more synergy, while others may impose restrictions as well. For some sample team compositions, we also have a comprehensive team guide to help you have an idea about team rosters that work well enough for certain game modes.

In this guide, we will be focusing on Rare-grade or 3-star units in Exos Heroes. For the most part, there are hardly heroes in this list that can perform at par with legendary and fated grade heroes, most especially in PvP. Some of them, however, are necessary or highly recommended for special dungeons that have specific conditions.

Fate core upgrades are also available to some of these heroes but for the purpose of this tier list, we will only consider the regular versions. If you have read our other guides or have played Exos Heroes enough, then you should know that fatecore versions tremendously boost a hero’s abilities and, at the very least, should put 3-star heroes at the level or tier of higher-grade units.

We have enumerated 38 out of the 70 Rare-grade characters in Exos Heroes. The remaining 32 who were not considered on this list are neither required nor highly recommended for the Special Dungeons but may still serve as fillers for various needs. With a wide range of heroes that you need to utilize tto be efficient across all of Exos Heroes’ game modes, some are simply bound to be the least priority as far as investment of resources go.

In any case, make it a habit to keep at least one copy of each Rare-grade hero as there may eventually be game modes in Exos Heroes that will make good use of them. Morris, who is not on this tier list has a Fate Core version as well and as we mentioned earlier, we are valuing these heroes in their regular versions.

This is where we end our tier list and we certainly hope that you enjoyed reading through it. Again, we understand and accept that every person has a unique valuation of each hero in every game but for us, relative to these heroes, it is largely about their value in the Special Dungeons and discounting FC upgrades. We are very much interested on how you would choose the best units for Rare-grade units in Exos Heroes as well so feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comment area!
