Word Morph! Tips & Cheats: 5 Tricks for Creating Longer Words and Beating the Timer

Word Morph! is a mobile game by Nimble Minds for Android and iOS devices that can be best described as an endless word puzzler. According to the developer, this is a casual title, one that would appeal to gamers who enjoy fast-paced, high-scoring games, and a “love for words.” It’s quite a simple game where you can change words by replacing one letter at a time, and racing against time by morphing new words. You’ll get boosters to help you along the way, so you don’t really have to worry (much) about time. So with that said, let’s take a look at some Word Morph! tips and cheats to help you beat the clock and morph those words.

1. Use The 99-Coin Cheat

Take note that this cheat only works during the first time you play the game. First, make sure you are in 1x (and not in 3G, 4G LTE, or Wi-Fi), and once Game Center is launched, you’ll get yourself 99 coins, instead of the standard five coins you get. This would allow you to buy most everything you need right away, including power-ups, as well as easier word modes. You can also start out with “Relax Mode” if you want, as long as you’re able to pull off this cheat. But once again, remember that this only works if you’re playing for the first time!

2. Look For Ways To Create Multiple Words By Planning Ahead

In Word Morph, you cannot repeat the same word multiple times. This will require some critical thinking on your part, and by that we mean planning ahead and thinking about one to three words in advance. Remember to think quickly AND accurately, as you want to beat out the timer as it ticks away!

3. Tap Harder On The Display

One of Word Morph’s bugs, if you can call it that, is that it requires you to tap down hard so that the game recognizes you’ve tapped a letter. This is crucial as well, as missing a tap could waste a serious amount of time if you’re not careful.

4. Use Power-Ups Only If You’re In Competition

You can use your coins to buy power-ups, though we only recommend using them if you’re up against your friends, or against other players from around the world in Google Play and the Game Center.

5. Unlock Relax Mode

As we’ve stressed several times in this article, beating the timer is very, very important, and is the meat of what makes this game so challenging. But if you want to practice, or if playing with a timer is a bit too hard for you, you’ll want to play in Relax Mode as long as you have it unlocked. Unlock this mode first before the longer, more challenging ones. In Relax Mode, you can play sans timer, as you train yourself to think and create words faster, and think of longer word matches.
