We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs Beginner’s Guide: Tips, Cheats & Tricks to Complete More Levels

Based on one of the most popular cartoon series today, We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs is more than just a match three puzzle. You get to repair and decorate the home of the three bears in a Gardenscapes-style game for Android and iOS devices. The game starts out with Grizzly Bear being rudely awakened with what he initially thought was an earthquake. After scrambling to grab the essentials along with Panda Bear and Ice Bear, he later finds out that the shaking of the earth was actually the result of an ongoing cell tower construction. The bears talk to the construction crew and prove that they have been living in the cave for over five years to convince them to stop building the tower. They succeed but now they are left with a half-demolished home filled with debris. Rebuilding will take a lot of work, so make sure you read our We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs beginner’s guide below for some neat tips and tricks!

1. Know Your Goals

When you tap on the Play button on the lower right of the screen, you will get a small window that shows you the objectives for the next round. The objectives are also shown on the left side of the screen once you have started the puzzle. Make sure you pay attention to these goals before you start matching. You only have a limited number of moves for each puzzle. If you use up all your moves without achieving the goals, you will fail and lose a life.

2. Take Your Time

As we mentioned, the game limits the number of moves you make. However, it does not limit the amount of time you spend on each move. That means you can take as much time as you want before making the next move. This is important because a lot of new players get pressured to continuously make matches without carefully considering their next step. Take time to analyze the entire board before making your next move. Do not just look at the current match, try to anticipate the next moves. You can get away with using brute force to accomplish goals during the earlier levels, but it will become increasingly difficult as you progress. You will have to learn how to make the tiles fall where you want by matching the right squares. This takes thorough analysis, so make sure you don’t rush!

3. Match At The Bottom

While it may not always be applicable, matching tiles at the bottom of the board usually leads to additional matches. This is because tiles drop from above. If you match tiles near the bottom of the board, there is a good chance that the tiles above will fall into a match. This is a good way to breeze through your goals, and maybe even create a special tile or two along the way. Just make sure you check first if there are any good matches above that might be ruined if you match the ones at the bottom. The last thing you want is to lose a potential great match just because you focused too much on the bottom of the screen.

4. Create Special Tiles

Combining four or more tiles of the same kind will create a special tile. These tiles are called bombs, and they can help you clear out boards with ease. The type of bomb you create depends on how many tiles were used and the position of those tiles. We have listed the different bombs below. Make sure you familiarize yourself with them, so you know which ones to use in certain situations.

Taco Bomb – This is the most basic type of bomb and is created by combining four tiles in a line. If you combine four tiles in a row, you will create a vertical Taco Bomb. If you combine four tiles in a column, you will create a horizontal Taco Bomb. These bombs blow up all tiles in a row or column depending on their orientation.

Waffle Bomb – These are created by combining four tiles in a square formation. A Waffle Bomb destroys four tiles around it as well as one random tile on the board that is part of your goal. It is useful for hitting those goal tiles that have been isolated for some reason.

Burger Bomb – This can be created by combining five tiles in any position. Using a Burger Bomb will blow up all tiles in a three-square radius. It is great for clearing out a lot of crates or even target tiles that are clustered together.

Butterfly Bomb – This is the most difficult bomb to create because it requires six tiles. Once you have it, though, you can remove all instances of a specific tile from the board. It is great for clearing the board as well as quickly breaking specific tiles for your goal.

5. Charge Up The Vacuum Pal

When you are playing a puzzle, you will see the Vacuum Pal at the bottom left corner of the screen. This is Ice Bear’s wonderful invention that clears out all the tiles in the path you choose for it. You will need to charge it up by using special tiles on the board. Sometimes it is worth it to use a special tile for no reason just so you can charge up the Vacuum Pal. The more special tiles you use at the same time, the faster you will be able to charge up the Vacuum Pal.

Once you have fully charged the Vacuum Pal, it will appear in a random position on the board. You will need to tap and drag in order to point it in the right direction. You can maximize its destructive power by pointing it in the middle of two tiles. This way, it will blow up both tiles instead of just one.

6. Use Your Power Ups Wisely

Power ups can be acquired for free as rewards, but once you use them all up, you will have to purchase more. They can be quite expensive, so make sure you use them only when absolutely necessary. Use them for stages that you have failed a few times, just to make sure you really need them. There are three types of power ups, each with its own special effect.

Captain Craboo – He is unlocked upon reaching level 16. Taking Captain Craboo will put two crabs on your board. Each crab works like a Taco Bomb, except that it clears both horizontally and vertically. It can be useful for clearing crates and ice from the board. You can also use it to give yourself more space to work with in crowded puzzles.

Skunk – The second power up is unlocked when you reach Level 20. It is like an upgraded Burger Bomb that blows up everything in a five-tile radius. It is useful in almost any situation, so take it along to strong-arm your way in a complicated puzzle.

Mad Vacuum – This is unlocked when you reach level 23. It is an upgraded version of Vacuum Pal that has a much wider path, allowing you to obliterate even more tiles in its path.

Ice Bear’s Axe – This is a unique power up that is available from the start and does not have to be equipped prior to starting a puzzle. You can find it on the left side of the screen, just below your goals. You can use this to delete any tile on the screen. Just as with the other power ups, however, you will need to purchase more when it runs out.

7. Hold Off On Shopping

Money can be hard to come by in We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs. You only earn a few after each puzzle, and it takes a while before you can unlock rewards. Make sure you spend your money wisely, or you will find yourself in trouble. There are a few things you can spend money on in the game. Some tasks have a timer on them, and you can spend money to speed things up. Avoid doing this because waiting is free!

Another item you can spend money on is for purchasing additional lives. It will cost you 1,000 to buy five more lives and it is not worth it. Your lives will automatically regenerate over time, but your money will not, so restrain yourself. Money can also be used to purchase additional moves when you fail to solve a puzzle. Again, don’t do this because it is better to just start over.

The only thing worth purchasing in We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs is a power up. Your power ups do not regenerate over time, and you will need them on particularly difficult puzzles. You can save even more money by saving up until you have enough to buy 10 of a power up since it will be discounted. Tap on each power up to see the discounted price.

8. Save Your Moves

Even though you have limited moves for each puzzle, it is possible to complete them without using up all your moves. When you complete a puzzle, all the remaining moves will be converted into Taco Bombs that will appear randomly on the board. They will then all explode, giving you additional money. Try to save as many moves as you can during the earlier levels. Once the puzzles become more difficult, you won’t be able to make as much money from the extra moves. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to replay older levels in the game. That means you only have one chance to make the most money out of each puzzle.

9. Collect More Stars

Each puzzle you complete in We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs will reward you with one star. Stars are needed to accomplish tasks for each chapter. You can check your list of tasks by tapping on the cellphone icon on the lower left corner of the screen. Completing all the tasks for a chapter will unlock a reward for you. Chapter rewards include money and power ups, so try to complete chapters as soon as possible.

If you want, you can continuously complete puzzles first in order to collect a lot of stars. Once you have enough to complete all the tasks, you can return to the cellphone to accomplish them all. This way, you will be able to watch the cutscenes and continuously decorate without having to switch back to solving puzzles after each task.

10. Spin For A Prize

One way to get freebies in the game is to spin for a prize. You get one free spin per day, so make sure you don’t miss it. Even if you don’t have time to play, try to log into the game to claim your free spin. Prizes include money, power ups, and other fun things, so don’t miss an opportunity to claim them. You can find the wheel icon on the left side of the main screen whenever it is available.

11. Keep Redecorating

When you complete tasks, you will sometimes be asked to choose the design of the object that will be placed in your home. The first one is the design and color of the window that will be placed on your cave. The options will be listed on the right side of the screen, and you can try out each of them before making a decision. If you feel like changing things up later on, don’t worry because you can still do so as much as you want. Just tap and hold on the area you want to redecorate. An arrow will fill up to indicate that the decoration screen is loading. Once it is full, you will be presented with the options you were given the first time. You can choose whichever you want then confirm your selection. The only catch is that it will cost you money to change the décor.

It is time to restore the cave to its former glory, and maybe even add some more decorations. Just follow the We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs cheats, tips and tricks listed above to ensure that your renovation is a success!

I’m on level 1800 and I have never used any cheats or hacked or anything. It’s taken me over 2 years. Can you advise how many levels are on the game? Is it infinite?
