Slicing (Ketchapp) Cheats, Tips & Tricks to Get a High Score

Remember those awesome anime moves where objects are thrown up in the air and the main character slices them before they fall to the ground? Ketchapp’s mobile game called Slicing lets you recreate that move when you play it on your Android and iOS devices. In fact, the whole game is about slicing things in midair. The gameplay, however, is different from other games wherein you just swipe like mad on the screen. This game requires patience, accuracy, and agility. You will have to wait for the objects to go through a red line before you can slice them. It sounds difficult but don’t worry because you can depend on our Slicing strategy guide to help you make that perfect cut!

1. Slice Up, Not Down

The controls of the game could not be any simpler. All you have to do is tap on the screen when the object is on top of the red line. You don’t have to actually swipe to slice anything, the line does that for you. The challenge, however, is in getting more points for your slices. A great way to earn bonus points in this game is to slice when the object is still on the way up, instead of when it is already falling. It is a bit harder to predict but if you practice, you will get the hang of it eventually.

2. Get The Power-Ups

There are a couple of power-ups in Slicing that can help you get higher scores. The first one is the snail. It slows everything down for a few seconds in order for you to make more accurate slices. The second power-up is the super slice. It creates two additional slicing wires for a total of three on your screen. Having three slicing wires will make it a lot easier for you to slice more flying objects. Don’t forget that you need to slice the power-ups as well in order to activate their bonus effects.

3. Avoid The Black Box

The game gives you points for slicing a whole bunch of things except for one – the black box. Slicing it will end your run so be careful whenever it appears, especially if you have three wires on the screen. All you need to do is to let it fall down until it is out of the wire’s range. You will be able to continue slicing other objects once the black box is gone. Instead of dreading it, you can consider it as a breather from all the frantic slicing you’ve been doing.

4. Unlock More Targets

Slicing rewards you with coins for playing the game and watching advertisements. Once you have enough coins in your pocket, you will be able to unlock new objects to cut. Each new object costs 200 coins in order to unlock. While the objects generally do not have any effect on gameplay, you should still choose which ones to unlock. You get bonus points for slicing objects perfectly in half so choose targets that are round or square. These shapes are easier to cut in half so the chances of making perfect cuts is higher.
