Pirate’s Creed Tips, Tricks & Cheats: 5 Hints You Need to Know

New iOS-only title Pirate’s Creed is the creation of Shimizu Yuta, and it tells the story of one Captain Roberts, an “infamous” pirate who had “left behind unimaginable wealth and treasure,” hiding it from the rest of the world. It’s your goal to find that treasure, recruit a crew of pirates, and build up a fleet of ships which you can then upgrade. Of course, you’ll also be able to train your pirates and improve their skills as you search for the buried treasure and engage in naval warfare.

Finding Captain Roberts’ treasure may sound like a big challenge, but if you’re up to it, we suggest that you don’t take to the seas until you check out this list of Pirate’s Creed tips, tricks and cheats.

1. Assign Pirates To Ships

Although, your ships are powerful in their own right, they won’t be of much help if you don’t assign pirates to them. To be specific, you should assign attack pirates to the ship’s cabin, as that will allow you to launch some damaging special moves and improve your ships’ stats.

2. Put Pirates To The Right Places

You may have seen it hinted in the above tip, but just to stress our point, there is a method when it comes to assigning pirates. Each of your pirates has a specific ship type – this could be attack, builder, or other types of ship. And they can be powered up accordingly – for example, cabins are used to power-up attack pirates, while storage is good for improving builder pirates. Remember to assign pirates to where they’re best fit.

3. Be Aware Of The Three Ship Classifications And Formations

There are three main types of ship in Pirate’s Creed. Your Warships, for starters, are represented by a sword, and they pretty much serve as your main dealers of damage due to their high attack power. Their weakness, however, is their lack of durability, which makes them best placed behind the others. Assault ships are your all-rounders and are represented by a winged boot. They attack first and can dodge enemy attacks easily. Both attack power and defense are solid, but not spectacular.

Lastly, Cruisers carry the shield icon, and these are your “tanks,” to use gaming parlance. Attack power is paltry, but defense and health are extremely high. As these ships serve as your tanks, place them up front to take damage from the enemy and protect your other ships.

4. Keep Your Stations Upgraded

At first, your ships will have only cabin and storage stations; the former determines attack power, while the latter determines health. Upgrade both if you’ve got the necessary materials for some generous stat boosts.

5. Take Advantage Of Your Attack Abilities ASAP

The game’s Auto Battle feature won’t be unlocked right away, which means you should manually activate attack abilities for your pirates. All pirates have a unique special attack ability that can only be launched if their special meter is full. There’s not much thinking required when using these abilities, so it’s alright for you to use them the moment they become available.
