1. Adjust The Control Settings
The game has two control settings for you to choose from. The default one is where you tap and hold on the right or left side of the screen to make your stack of pigs move in either direction. This can be a little tricky for some players since your movement will be dependent on how long you hold. If you prefer a tap and drag method, just head into the settings menu and change the control to drag.
2. How To Keep Running
There are several ways for you to stay in the game, and you will need to do all of them as you see fit. First, make sure you take stairs as much as you can. Falling off a ledge will cost you a pig, but stairs will keep everyone safe. Second, make sure you collect bubbles as a safety measure. Bubbles will temporarily add bubbles under your pile, which will allow you to survive obstacles without losing pigs. You should also pick up shovels whenever you can in order to fill in holes that you will eventually come across. Finally, use any clocks that you find so you can slow down time for a while.
3. Survive Deadly Falls
When you accidentally fall off the side of the level, you will lose all your pigs and your run will end. There is a way to survive this, however. Stacks do not fall all at once, so you will have a second to quickly turn in the opposite direction to try and save at least one pig. Don’t worry about the number of pigs you lose. As long as you keep one pig alive, you will be able to pick up new ones along the way.
4. Collect Coins For New Landscapes
Piggy Pile gives you the option to unlock new landscapes that come with their own set of characters. Landscapes change how everything looks, including the way your pigs look. These, however, are all cosmetic, so they won’t impact the gameplay in any way. If you want to buy new landscapes, you will need around 100 to 5,000 coins. You can get coins by picking them up during your runs. Just make sure you do not jeopardize your run for the sake of a single coin.
5. Watch Out For Special Levels
As you progress in your run, you will eventually come upon special levels that offer different perks. An example of this is the Save the King level where you will find treasure chests on top of clouds. You will need to have a pile of pigs high enough to reach the chests. If you do, you will be able to collect a lot of coins in the process! Keep your eyes peeled for more special levels so you can take advantage of them.
