Paradise Bay Cheats & Strategy Guide: 9 Fantastic Tips, Tricks & Hints Every Player Should Know

Paradise Bay is a brand new game by King that’s currently available for iOS devices only. The game takes you to the eponymous Paradise Bay, a place that’s described as the ultimate escape for travelers, explorers, and dreamers. It’s a city builder title that allows you to create your own seaport, trade goods with other players, and interact with islanders, merchants, and even island animals. You can also collect “long lost map pieces” to discover different parts of the in-game universe, and dive underneath the seas to collect treasure.

This is a unique city builder mobile game, and it’s developed by a company that’s best known for their iconic Match 3 titles, but then again, that’s what makes this game so unique. And we shall now be sharing a list of Paradise Bay cheats, tips and tricks that will help you be the best Tradesman you can be.

1. Be Sure You’re Consistently Producing

When playing Paradise Bay, you have to keep yourself busy all the time, though we probably should say “keep your workers busy.” As it’s very important to have enough raw materials for your farm, make sure you’re always producing raw materials and making use of what you create in structures such as the Woodshop. Production should be ongoing on a regular basis, and you can ill afford even a few seconds of completely idle time.

2. Monitor Those Resources

Speaking of raw materials, you should always ensure you have enough cotton, pineapple, etc. for your farm. Each resource needs to have at least one unit available so you don’t run out when you least expect it. Typically, you’ll have the most success on this front if you produce something that would require materials you currently have handy, with at least one of these units planted.

3. Take Advantage Of The Time Lapse Cheat

The time lapse cheat, as most of you may know by now, would require you to change the time on your device by moving it forward, so that you can bypass long wait times, regain lost lives, etc. In Paradise Bay, you can use this cheat so that everything you planted is ready to harvest, though some say that they aren’t able to do the time lapse anymore. It’s worth a try, though we won’t be surprised if King has nerfed the cheat.

4. Start Out By Taking On Quest Trades

Quests, as is often the case in games of this type, will help you move along faster and help you earn more rewards early on. As such, quest trades are a good starting point, and not only would you get more rewards, you may also unlock new items that will help you when you get to the more advanced parts of the game.

5. Trade Wisely And Carefully

When trading in Paradise Bay, you shouldn’t take advantage of every opportunity to swing a trade. Choose the ones where you know you can benefit by getting lots of coins in return, and those you know you can successfully pull off. As you progress through the game, you’ll also have to familiarize yourself with each item’s market value, so you don’t end up with the short end of the stick. One bonus tip to remember here is that more complex items have higher values.

6. Get More Treasure Boxes, Here’s How

Each of your characters should complete their share of trades, as that’s the main way in which you can increase their hearts, or their friendship level. Doing this will give you some treasure boxes which are, of course, loaded with free goodies such as materials, or even items required for upgrading storage space. Aside from accumulating enough hearts, you can get treasure boxes at random as they spawn on the island. Just be sure you’ve got enough free storage space before open these boxes!

7. Make Easy Money Through Wesley’s Exports And The World Market

What you’ll want to do here is to sell your items slightly under market value so you can free up some much-needed inventory space. No, you won’t be getting any profit here as you’ll be selling items at a discount, but then again, this is a good way to free up space and do it fast. The World Market is another place you can visit, and in here you can buy and sell goods from other players – the key here, really, is to buy low and sell high. We would suggest that you buy items in bulk for a cheaper price, then sell some of them at higher prices per unit so you can make a bit of a profit.

8. Earn Free Gems

Gems are the premium currency in Paradise Bay, and you can earn more of them by completing the achievements in the achievements menu. You don’t need to go there only when you see a number next to the menu button; there are other ways in there to help you earn free gems. In addition, gems can be found inside treasure chests, which we discussed above.

9. Take Advantage Of Your Downtime

You can’t expect to play Paradise Bay all day; you will, naturally, need to put the game aside when you go to sleep, when you head off for work or school, when you’ve got an important task to do at home, etc. Keeping that in mind, it’s sound practice to set aside items that require a lot of time to be produced for the times when you need to exit the game and focus on “reality.”

When you return to the game, that’s when you can collect or harvest those items, and focus on tasks that can be completed in a short period of time. As we said above, the time lapse cheat can theoretically circumvent this and eliminate the need to wait it out, though we’re not sure if this cheat has been killed off or not. But regardless, the main thing here is making the most of your time playing Paradise Bay, and also making the most of your time not playing the game.

I'm so confused! I been playing a while now (mobile) & either I haven't reached this 'bday request' or I missed it entirely. I am on level 50 & missed a lot of animals I wanted to purchase. Besides the animals at the pet sanctuary, where is the sticker store they menton to purchase animals such (i.e. panther & camel)? How do u see which stickers u have? & I also understood their are 'tricks' & things available but not told/given in the actual game..? Can anyone help give me a better understanding? Thank u!! Kathy
