My Oasis (iOS) Cheats, Tips & Tricks to Progress Faster

Want a different take on idle gaming, and one that could guarantee you with more chances of actually relaxing? Check out My Oasis – Relaxing Sanctuary, a new game from Buff Studio that you can now download via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Relaxation is one of the key selling points in this game — for example, the game’s makers say that this title doesn’t have any negative elements, or any content that could “stress you out” and defeat the game’s purpose of helping you get “a break from life.” Idle games are meant to be relaxing, and this new game, we’d say, fits that description in spades.

Then again, it can be a total pain to learn a new game, even one of those idle or semi-idle games that require at least a modicum of action in order to play the right way. And that too applies to a setting with brand-new mechanics for a first-time downloader. So if you’re looking to make quicker progress in the game, we suggest you read our list of My Oasis tips and tricks. We’ve compiled six simple tips that can help you achieve your in-game goals faster than you normally would, so read on if there’s something about the new game that isn’t clear to you.

1. Complete More Journeys

The closest things in the game to quests, Journeys can be very helpful when you’re trying to find new puzzle pieces, or get rewards that you can normally receive in an organic manner, meaning by playing the game as usual. (With that in mind, My Oasis’ Journeys are better off if considered akin to quests!) Complete all the Journeys in the game until they become too hard for you to pull off, and if you aren’t able to complete one right away, you can always go back and give things another stab. More Journeys completed means more puzzle pieces, and more treasures as well — don’t worry, we’ll get to that in a bit.

2. Need Some Help With The Music? The Game’s Got It

At some point in the game, you’ll begin to notice musical notes appear above some animals’ heads, or above some of the items on your Oasis. These notes will play some music when you tap on them, and unless you happen to be musically skilled, you might have a hard time playing the exact same notes and getting the reward for this optional, yet highly-recommended mini-game.

Fortunately, the folks at Buff Studio have made sure you won’t be alone in this area of the game. By watching an ad video, you will be able to see the correct tapping order for the music when you tap on a musical note to start the pattern. This “cheat” will be active for exactly 10 minutes, so make sure you’re taking advantage of it, should you not be the musical kind. If you aren’t willing to sit through ads, you might want to skip the musical note mini-game and save yourself the aggravation. As we mentioned, it’s completely optional, so there’s no real need to force the issue.

3. Tap On The Three Dots And The Chest

The musical notes are just one of the things you can tap on in this game. There are also some items on your oasis that have three dots right above them. If you tap on them, you will be rewarded with a ton of hearts, so be alert and be quick when it comes to the dots!

You can also get a lot of hearts by opening the chest that sometimes appears in the middle of the oasis. It won’t always be there, but when you see it, tap on the chest, and watch an ad video to unlock it. Inside the chest, you won’t just get hearts as a reward, but also premium currency. The more times you open that chest, the faster you’ll progress, though do not misconstrue these chests as being the same as the Treasures we’ll be talking about in the very next tip.

4. Open Up Some Treasures

Currently, there are 15 Treasures for you to unlock in My Oasis, and while you may think the early ones are easy to get, you’ll want to think again, and trust us on this — ALL of the Treasures can be challenging to unlock. That’s what makes it important to know the requirements to open them, and to work toward completing those requirements. It will be worth it, however, as you’ll get some significant bonuses for hearts gains if you open them up!

5. How To Manage Your Skills

Leveling up your oasis will allow you to unlock new skills, which you can then use to improve your earrings in the game. You can also combine your skills, which often rewards you with a huge amount of hearts. But bear in mind as well that you have to activate your skills in the right order — that would mean, for instance, activating Cherry Blossoms before you activate Nature’s Affection, and not the other way around, if you want to maximize your heart rewards.

6. Collect More Dandelion Seeds

Last, but not the least, let’s talk about the Dandelion Seeds you can collect in My Oasis, which is actually more like a skill than anything else. Your seeds can be activated even with a minimum of just one seed, and you can do so with a maximum of 30. Once you activate 30 seeds, you will get the number of hearts per second based on your Dandelion Seed skill level and the number of seeds you have at the time the skill is activated. In order to potentially get better rewards, we suggest maxing out your Dandelion Seeds skill level before anything else.

Hi! You start with a 1% chance to acquire a seed while tapping. As you upgrade your dandelion seed skill, the percentage of your chance to acquire one increases, as does how long it lasts. When activated, they give you however many Hearts per second it says in the details box for that amount of time. Hope this helps!
