Let’s face it. Collecting loot is one of the most fun things to do in any game. Look, Your Loot! is a unique strategy game created by Dragosha for Android phones and tablets. It combines card and board game mechanics to create a simple, yet highly addicting adventure. The game begins with 9 cards on the board, one of which is your Hero. Your Hero can move up, down, left, or right. You will need to go through dungeons, unlock chests, cast spells, kill monsters, and avoid obstacles in order to collect all the loot. There are four Heroes for you to choose from, each with his own set of attributes that will require varying tactics. Do not let the game’s simple mechanics fool you. It can be exceptionally difficult to master, especially if you don’t know how to use your Hero’s abilities properly. 1. Claim Your Free Booster
At the start of each new game, you will be given the option to watch a video advertisement in exchange for a free booster. Make sure you always accept this offer as it will help you a lot as you play. If you absolutely hate watching ads, however, there is another option. You could opt to pay 99 cents for the ad-free version of the game. Doing so will remove all ads and it will automatically give you the free booster every game.
2. Prioritize Unlocking New Characters
Aside from the free booster that you get at the start of each game, you also have the option to buy boosters with coins. Hold off on buying these boosters in the beginning, because you will be needing a lot of coins for unlocking new characters. Coins are hard to come by when you are still starting, so it is better if you invest in new characters first.
3. Use The Right Hero
As mentioned above, there are four Heroes in the game. Using the right Hero that suits your play style is important if you want to get far. The best Hero mostly depends on your own preference, but if you are still undecided, there are a couple of characters you can go with. The default character, Knight, is actually a great Hero because he has a good amount of hit points, as well as a skill that helps him conserve shield power. Alternatively, you can also go for the Rusty Paladin. His skill allows him to walk on spikes, and he can turn shields into lightning. The only drawback is that he will set you back a whopping 20,000 coins.
4. Be Careful Where You Peek
There are various items that you can interact with in the game, such as chests and barrels. While it may be tempting to bust these things open in order to claim the loot inside, you should do so with caution. If you don’t have keys for opening chests, you have to be careful in trying to force them open. If you fail, you will not be able to get the loot inside, and you may even get injured in the process. Barrels, on the other hand, may have monsters hiding inside them. Using The Thief can help you with these problems, but you will then be sacrificing attributes that you will need for survival. It is makes more sense to use a better Hero and just be more careful all the time.
5. Beware Of Fireballs
Fireballs are powerful spells that can help or hinder your progress, depending on how they are used. Keep in mind that they do not just damage monsters. They can also damage potions and shields. Instead of jumping on top of Fireball cards, work your way around them until you are in a position that will allow you to deal damage to monsters, without taking damage in return.
