Kerohiro the Flag Bearer Tips & Tricks to Lead Your Team to Glory

Kerohiro the Flag Bearer is an exciting new game from Lek Chan, which is available for the Android and iOS mobile platforms. In this game, you’ll be playing as the titular frog named Kerohiro. According to the game’s description, you’ll be “(wielding) flag” instead of crossing rivers and roads, forming your own team, and uniting them under that flag. Of course, your goal would be to be victorious with the rest of your team, but you can also “unveil secret conspiracy”, crawl through dungeons, and encounter other characters in the game. There is a total of 16 playable characters in the game, all of whom have their own attacks and super moves, 42 main and sub-missions, and also a “unique sacred tile puzzle.”

It seems a pretty cool game, but if you’re playing the game for the first time, you may wonder what to do, where to go, and what to expect. So with that said, we now have a list of Kerohiro the Flag Bearer tips and tricks, mostly designed for beginners, but also helpful to those who have been playing the game longer than most.

1. Be Aware Of The Enemies

In this game, you’ll encounter a wide variety of enemy characters, and the toughest of them are the ranged enemies. The other types of enemies are also worth watching out for, but you should avoid those ranged attacks, while also scouting the bad guys and finding out the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy type. You may also want to pay attention to what they do if you’re within their range; this may take a little bit of trial and error, but at the end of the day, you should know what to do when trying to avoid enemies and exploit their weaknesses.

2. Stay In The Back

Now that you know the importance of scouting enemies, here’s what you should do if you want to get rid of them faster – stay in the back and fire at them from behind. Focus on the enemies one by one, as you wouldn’t want a situation with multiple weakened enemies, but none of them actually dead. This method may take a while, and it will take you long to take each of those enemies out individually, but this is also the safest approach.

3. The Enemies May Throw You A Curve Ball

Although, firing from behind and focusing on enemies individually is a good general tip, there are also times when the enemy may throw the proverbial curve ball. The enemies may change their direction, or you may encounter a totally separate group of enemies. Change direction alongside the enemies, and be aware for the moments when they do. And don’t be afraid to retreat temporarily and head to safer ground if you notice you’re having difficulty.

4. How To Fill Up Your Power-Up Bar Faster

If you want to launch those special attacks, you should focus on filling up your power-up bar. And you can do that faster by doing some damage against the enemies, then killing them one by one from behind. This may seem counterintuitive, and you may run into other enemy groups, but it’s a good way to fill up the power-up bar if you need to.

5. Go To The Tavern For More Quests

Need more quests? Go to the tavern whenever you’ve got time to do that, and preferably after you’ve just gotten done with a quest. That’s going to unlock a new quest, and if you complete tavern quests, you’ll earn more rewards, such as valuable equipment upgrades that could help you along the way.

6. Replay To Farm For Experience And Money

Grinding it out is a valid strategy in Kerohiro the Flag Bearer. Your characters will earn experience and money after battles, and as your characters level up, they’ll become more powerful and will have more health points. So if you want to farm for experience and earn more money, you can go back to missions you’ve already completed and replay them. You can then use the coins that you earn to buy upgrades for your weapons and armor.

Just to set your expectations, you might have to do a lot of grinding. As we said earlier, the game looks casual, but does offer quite a deep and engaging experience; as such, it may take a while to get far. But you can gain the experience and in-game money you need by grinding and replaying older levels.
