1. Push Your Opponents To The Edge
The game has computer controlled opponents that you can challenge. Although their fighting styles may differ, they all have one fatal flaw. All computer controlled fighters will always try to back away from you. That means if you try to come closer, they will step backwards until they are comfortable with the distance between the two of you.
As we mentioned above, the arenas have different traps in them. Use the AI’s tendency to back away as an opportunity to push them towards traps. Pitfalls are especially useful because they deal massive damage on anyone who falls. Even if you cannot find a trap nearby, you can just push your opponent towards the edge of the arena. This will make it difficult for them to move, and they will become easy targets.
2. Watch Out For Random Items
While you are in the middle of battle, random items will pop up. These items can be a blessing if you know what to do with them. For example, if you see a barrel full of dynamite, you will need to act fast. Flinging your weapon at it will push it towards the direction of your throw. You can push it towards your opponent and watch it explode in their face. Keep in mind, however, that the barrel explodes on its own a few seconds after spawning. If you get too close to it, you might end up getting hurt instead. There are other random items that work pretty much the same way. Make sure you stay alert and jump away from them if you cannot push them towards your opponent.
3. Grab Those Flying Goodies
Whenever you are able to hit your opponent with something, random goodies will fly out of them. These are things you should not be dodging. Quickly grab them as soon as you can because they will disappear after a few seconds. Of course, you should still be wary of your opponent’s counterattack, so run after the goodies with caution. Just try to safely grab what you can because these goodies include character experience, coins, boosts, and more!
4. Jump And Fling
One of the best ways to win a game is to keep moving. Mastering the jump-and-fling method will help you win many battles. Before you get excited, though, keep in mind that this method takes precise timing and accuracy. You can’t just mash buttons and expect to win. You need to know how and when to execute this move or you will end up making yourself vulnerable to attacks.
The first thing you need to remember is that your trajectory cannot be changed in midair. That means you will need to aim before you even jump. If you jump without fixing your trajectory, you will hit nothing but air. It will take a bit of practice before you can instinctively aim quickly right before a jump.
Another thing you need to consider is that your trajectory will move with you as you jump. That means you cannot aim directly at your opponent while you are on the ground and expect to hit when you fling in midair. You need to adjust you aim so that your trajectory will align with your opponent after you jump.
5. Get Your Freebies
The game gives out free chests every eight hours plus an additional one for logging in for the day. It is a great way to rack up experience while collecting fighter fragments, so make sure you don’t miss any of them. Try to log in every eight hours even if it is just to collect the free chests in order to maximize your loot gain!
