Finger Hero Tips, Tricks & Cheats: 4 Hints to Improve Your High Score

DaftMobile’s Finger Hero is a new single-touch casual game that’s only available for iOS devices right now, and while it doesn’t seem farfetched if such a simple, addictive title makes its way to Android eventually, the game is specifically designed to take advantage of 3D Touch on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The game’s maker says that Finger Hero appeals to fans of “simple, flat design” and “dynamic games,” and that you can complete missions, collect coins, and unlock up to 83 different characters – the “funniest ever made.” You can also compete against friends and see who survives the longest, but while the tap-and-hold mechanics may seem quite easy to pick up, you only have one chance in this game. Bump into any obstacle just once and it’s the end of your game.

A game that’s designed for iPhones with 3D Touch might seem a little daunting for first-time players, though you can still play it even if you don’t have the feature on account of your older iPhone. But regardless which version iPhone you’re on, we hope you enjoy our list of Finger Hero tips and tricks, all designed to help you last longer in the game.

1. How To Tap And Hold The Right Way

3D Touch, for those who aren’t familiar with the feature, can tell how softly or how hard you’re pressing on your device’s screen. And that’s where the game’s main mechanics come into play. Press down harder so your character goes faster, and press softer so you can move at a slower pace. It’s simple as that, though choosing the right speed may at times be tricky. If you’re new to the game, you can go slower for the most part, and once you’re comfortable enough with the nuances of Finger Hero, you can then try moving around at a faster pace, which will allow you to score higher, and maybe rank highly on the leaderboards.

2. How To Earn Coins

Coins can be collected within the different levels, so it’s possible to just play the game like you normally would and get coins the natural, organic way. But you can also watch advertisements when available – watching an ad video could earn you free coins. Additionally, you can collect free prizes that DaftMobile often serves up to players – sometimes, you can get as many as 150 to 200 coins by collecting these prizes.

3. About Collecting New Characters

There are over 80 characters to choose from beside the default one you start with, and you can spend 100 coins to spin for a new one. If you don’t like the character you got, or if you got a duplicate, you can spin again for 25 coins. In the end, though, it won’t matter which character you choose, unless you’re in it for collection and customization – all 83 characters play the same way, and merely look different from each other. Besides, there’s a good chance you won’t see your character for the most part, as they will typically be located underneath your own finger.

4. How To Play The Game Without An iPhone 6S / iPhone 6S Plus

So you’ve got an older iPhone, like an iPhone 6/6 Plus or older, and want to play Finger Hero. As we said earlier, that is indeed possible, and you can still do well on an older device. You would also be able to change speeds like you could on 3D Touch-enabled iPhones. Just move your character upward so you can speed it up, and move it downward so you can slow it down to get the same result as you would on an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus.

That’s all for now, as far as our Finger Hero tips and tricks are concerned. In case you know other hints for the game, don’t hesitate to share them with us, fellow players!
