Final Taptasy is a new game from Nanoo for Android and iOS mobile devices that, despite the title, doesn’t really have anything to do with the Final Fantasy franchise. It’s another one of those “save the princess” missions, but this time, it’s going to be all about your tapping, as you tap frantically on your screen to defeat more enemies. You can gather three heroes with their own pets, crawl through numerous dungeons, and use different weapons and skills to your benefit. And like every tapper game should, there is an option to prestige here, if you want to go on more difficult, yet more rewarding adventures.
Once again, this is not to be confused with an official Final Fantasy game (we’ve covered one quite recently), but if you’re a fan of clicker games, this might be something you’d like to check out. We won’t waste much more of your time, as you may be here for some tips and tricks on how to play the game. And that’s what we have for you right now, with this detailed Final Taptasy strategy guide.
1. Tap Fast, And Tap Plentiful
This is always one of the first things you want to do in clicker games. Before the game works for you, you should first start working for the game, and that would mean tapping as quickly as you could, and as often as possible. Attack damage, healing, and mana generation all increase each time you tap, and as you increase your taps per second, you’ll be able to improve those stats even more. All in all, the game has five levels of bonuses that you can earn based on your tap-per-second rate, and while the bonuses in the first two levels are negligible, you will earn 10 to 30 percent additional hero attack damage, for one, from level 3 onward.
2. Tap With As Many Fingers As Possible
Think it’s going to be hard work doing all that tapping? It doesn’t have to be that way, as you can tap with as many fingers as the screen of your device would allow. If you own a smaller phone, you will likely be able to fit four fingers on your screen, but if you own a tablet, you can easily fit six or more fingers in there. And as long as you can handle it, tapping with as many fingers as you could will do wonders for your taps per second stat. As a bonus tip, don’t forget to tap the chests that appear on your screen while playing, as that’s going to give you a ton of rewards.
3. Keep On Unlocking Weapons
Once you’ve leveled up your present weapon to level 25, you’ll want to unlock the next weapon that becomes available. Remember that with better weapons comes better performance for your heroes, and that matters a lot, much like quickly tapping with multiple fingers can, as we discussed in the two tips above.
4. Make Sure You’re Always Collecting Rewards
You can earn rewards by completing more quests, so you’ll definitely want to be playing as many of them as possible. These are normally things that can be achieved in the natural progression of playing the game, so there’s no need to work overtime on completing a quest, or to play the game differently. Completing quests unlocks new ones, and that gives you even more chances to earn money.
Likewise, you can also earn rewards through the fairies that appear at random in the game. They’ll drop similarly random items, so make sure to collect them by tapping on the fairies.
5. Keep Your Skills Upgraded
The option to use your skills is all up to you, as you can unleash them at any time, and whenever you have enough mana for them. You should focus on upgrading those skills, as they can greatly help you on the battlefield. But always remember that mana can only go as high as 5; that would require some strategic planning so that you don’t end up wasting any mana. And that waste happens when you’ve got it maxed out but aren’t using any of your skills.
6. Save The Game As Often As Possible
One drawback with Final Taptasy is that it doesn’t auto-save like most clicker games do. Without an auto-save feature, and yes, we do believe this is one of the game’s few shortcomings, you’ll have to save your game manually whenever you could. You don’t want to lose progress and have to start from square one or close to that, so go to your Settings icon in the upper right of your screen, tap on Save, and be good to go from there. Data can be loaded at any time, but somehow, you’re only allowed to load data from the cloud once per 15 days.
7. Hire Allies As Soon As Possible, And Get Them Skinned
This is something you should be doing as early on as possible. Hire allies ASAP, as that’s going to give you a big edge when up against the enemy. They attack enemies by themselves, so take advantage of their presence and add more as you progress forward in the game.
Also, make sure you get them skinned, just like you do to your own heroes! These skins will cost you diamonds, which are the game’s premium currency, but you don’t need to worry about those skins being nothing more than cosmetic changes. They actually give some nice bonuses to your heroes and allies, and will remain with you even after you rebirth.
8. When Should You Rebirth?
Rebirthing is what Final Taptasy uses to refer to the process of “prestiging,” or restarting your game from the first level (or resetting your heroes from scratch) in order to make your characters more powerful in the end. Since the game allows you to rebirth early on, we suggest that you do so at stage 1-10, 2-10, and so on. Aside from the 30 percent attack boost and other effects, you will get 50 keys each time you rebirth up to stage 10-10, upon which you’ll be getting more per rebirth. Those keys can be used to open treasures and earn you rewards, so rebirth whenever you could!
9. Purchase Auto Tap
Last, but not the least, you will need a respite from all the frantic tapping at some point in the game. So once you’re able to afford it, get Auto Tap, as that’s going to let the game do the tapping for you, and allow you to make better time and more progress.
