Unlike any other match-three puzzle game, it has a story that you go through for each level that you complete. So, strap right in and join Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie, Brian, Quagmire, Cleveland, and the rest of the gang for an adventure that would give you laughs while you rack your brain solving every level. Check out our list of Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game tips, tricks and cheats to help you go far into the game.
1. Use The First Two Hours To Get Infinite Lives
Upon starting, the game gives you unlimited lives to work with in the first two hours to help you familiarize yourself with the game. This means you should open up your schedule for the next two hours after you download and install it for the first time to get ahead early and finish as many of the 160 levels as possible.
2. Get Bonuses, Here’s How
Focus on lining up as many of the same drinks as possible gives bonuses and boosts. For example, matching four in a square (2×2) formation rewards you a Molotov bomb that can take out a bigger area.
How the matches are lined up also determines what kind of bonus you will receive. Matching four in a vertical line clears the whole column, and matching four in a horizontal line clears the whole row. Matching five in an “L” formation rewards you a propane tank, which destroys all nearby pieces, while matching five pieces in a “T” formation enables an “X”-blaster that clears out drinks in an “X” formation. Finally, matching five in a line gives you a rainbow piece that can be combined with any other drink. Once you use it, all the drinks with that color disappear. Matching two of these clears the whole board. The game rewards you for efficiency. You get bonus points for completing a level in as few moves as possible. Chain matches also give additional points as well, so make the most out of your every turn.
3. Know The Objectives Of Every Level
Know your level’s objectives, which usually depend on the character. The simplest objective is to reach the target score required by every character. Get those out of the way as early as possible. Plan your moves ahead so you won’t waste them.
4. Plan Your Strategy Depending On The Game Mode
Some characters have you playing a different mode in the game. Peter has the simplest one, as his objective is to become the best beer trucker in Quahog. In the case of Quagmire, you must collect condoms for him by matching drinks where the condom is located. The same goes for Meg’s makeup kit. There are boss battles as well. Beating the Giant Chicken, for example, needs matches that connect in some way.
5. Don’t Waste Bonuses And Power-Ups
Although the game awards you power-ups when do more than three matches as stated in our second tip, make sure to use these and the complimentary boosters given to you sparingly and only when necessary. The space displacer works like a propane tank, clearing pieces in a given area. The kitty crossbow and the bullet breaker works like row and column blasters, respectively.
You need to buy some of these items using real money once they run out in your inventory. Or you can get them from mystery boxes, which will be discussed further down below. Rather than bombarding a stage with bonuses and power-ups just to finish it, it is much better to practice prudence in some situations and opt to restart the level instead. Lives refresh at a faster rate than you can receive bonus coins.
6. Complete Quests To Progress In The Game Faster
Aside from letting you earn collectible items (which unlocks after finishing level 16) that you can exchange for bonuses and other stuff, completing quests also let you progress in the game. Make sure to always check what your current goal is, and once achieved, take note of the next task.
Be aware that these missions are time-limited and will reset daily. Complete as many quests as you can in every session that you play. Aside from power-ups, you can also chance on other bonuses as well, such as a two-hour infinite life bonus where you can make unlimited runs until your fingers get sore or your device’s battery run out, whichever comes first.
The game though does not notify you if you have unlocked an item. This means you should check the menu once in a while and see if you have gained any new items, which you can trade for uranium. The uranium then can be used to open mystery boxes, which then provides the rewards we mentioned earlier.
