Disney Magical Dice Tips, Tricks & Strategy Guide: 9 Hints for Better Cards and More Success

Netmarble is usually a company that specializes in role-playing games, but it also happens to be the company that has just released the first Disney mobile board game, Disney Magical Dice. This is an Android and iOS title where you can join your favorite Disney characters, collect cards, and roll the magi dice as you go from one Disney world to another. You can create your own user/player avatar and choose from an array of available costumes, visit various landmarks, and collect costume cards as you keep on playing the game. You can also strengthen your cards by powering them up or fusing them, and play with up to three other people at the same time.

As you can see, this is a mobile board game with a lot of trading card game (TCG) elements involved, and you know how deep and intricate those titles can be at times. But you don’t need to be daunted by this new game – read this Disney Magical Dice strategy guide and you’ll be making better progress than you may have imagined.

1. Take On Daily Missions For Premium Costume Card Packs

If you’re hoping to get more premium costume card packs right off the bat, you can take part in the game’s daily missions. By playing the game each day (more on why this is important in just a bit), you can earn yourself better cards while honing your skills. And speaking of honing your skills, you can even get A-class card packs by playing in practice mode. Likewise, you can get A-class packages by making it to Level 10 in the game.

2. How To Get A-Class Cards

You can get an A+-class card by fusing two A-class cards, but before we get to that, you may be wondering how you can get an A-class card to begin with. The simplest way to get one of these cards is to login at least once a day and play the game, and that’s going to be in force while Disney Magical Dice is, so to say, hot off the presses.

Currently, there’s a seven-day event to celebrate the game’s launch, and to welcome you to Disney Magical Dice, Netmarble has promised a costume card pack equal or higher than A-class on the event’s second day, or premium costume card packs on the fourth and sixth day. There’s also a 28-day event with similar mechanics, but different rewards. You can get a premium costume pack on the seventh day, an A-class or higher costume pack on the 14th day, and three A+ costume packs on the 28th day.

3. Why Should You Connect Your Game To Facebook?

Yes, this is another one of those games where it’s really best for you to connect your game to Facebook. By doing this, you’ll get three premium costume packs free of charge, as well as diamonds (more on them later) depending on the number of friends you’ve invited to the game. But what if you don’t have any friends on your main account who play Disney Magical Dice, or are at least interested in playing it? You can always create a separate gaming account, be friends with other players, and invite them through Facebook, thus making them your in-game friends as well. More friends means more hearts and Lucky Points, so don’t be afraid to be social!

4. What Are The Best Cards And Dice In The Game?

Based on what we’ve seen from Disney Magical Dice so far, A+ Buzz Lightyear and Stitch are the cards that come with the best stats. But as we said earlier, even if you open a card pack and don’t get any A+ cards, you can fuse two A-class cards to turn them into one A+-class card. And when talking about dice, there’s a total of eight dice choices, but the most powerful of these is Mickey’s dice. The Mickey Dice are available for 170 diamonds, and that’s going to lead us on to the next tip for this game – how to get more of the game’s premium currency.

You want your dice to be more powerful than that of your opponent, as that’s going to give you a key advantage in the battle. And when given the choice of buying more powerful dice or leveling up your current dice, we’d say go with buying something more powerful.

5. How To Get More Diamonds

Diamonds are the game’s premium currency, and you can get more of them by completing check-in missions, getting a Lucky Bonus, and through Magic Beans. Daily missions are optional tasks which you can achieve in order to earn diamonds and other rewards, and these may be as simple as playing two multiplayer games, or completing four missions in a day. As for the Lucky Bonus, that’s earned by spinning the wheel, where you can earn Lucky Points to make a free draw. Aside from diamonds, you can win costume packs, gold, and hearts by spinning the wheel.

6. Don’t Acquire Buildings In The First Round

Now what about the actual board game? We’ve taught you ways to get better cards and better dice, so we might as well move on to some tips for playing the board game itself.

First off would be not to acquire buildings in your first round of play. Your return on investment just wouldn’t be worth it, and you wouldn’t be able to create more buildings at that time. Instead, try acquiring places where there are three existing buildings. Don’t build three buildings if there’s no shortage of gold to go around, and be more efficient by avoiding the temptation to hold a festival.

7. What Is Hot Time, And How Can You Earn More Gold With It?

We like to think of Hot Time as Disney Magical Dice’s version of fever mode, only this time, it’s a set time that takes place twice each day. If you win during Hot Time, you’ll double your gold earnings.

Aside from Hot Time, other ways to earn more gold include playing at least thrice a day and completing more missions. There are also check-in events, where you should login to the game at least once per day so you can be eligible for the bonus. It also helsp to play at higher channels for better gold rewards – you get 1,000 gold for Rookie, 2,000 gold for Minor, and 5,000 gold for Major channels.

8. Once Leveled Up, Use Your Magic Items To The Fullest

Instead of bothering yourself with all those different completion rules, a more worthy advanced tip to follow would be to liberally use your magic items once you’ve leveled yourself up sufficiently. That’s because magic items work best if used by higher-level players, allowing for more gold if you’re able to win the game. And if you really want to bother with all those line completion mechanics, you’ll want to go with magic squares due to their flexible nature in terms of donations and penalties.

9. How To Get Magic Items

Last, but not the least, let’s touch briefly on the topic of magic items. You can earn them by getting lucky draws, or by leveling up A-class or higher costume cards. Don’t forget to refer to your card table so you’ll know which characters can reward you with the best magic items. These items can then allow you to increase the number of steps you can take based on your starting dice count, double your earnings, and do a lot more to help you out in the game.
