Dear Diary Cheats, Tips & Tricks: How to Get Keys to Unlock More Pages

Dear Diary – Interactive Story by Tapps is an iOS and Android mobile game that introduces you to Anna Blake, a girl who is making her way through high school, and as you go through the game, you’ll be making decisions for her, with every choice affecting her fate. It may be choosing which boy she’ll be dating – the jock or the smart guy – or which dress she will be wearing to the prom. In fact, you may have to decide whether she’ll go to the prom or not, or whether she’ll stay home and study or go out and party.

This game makes use of keys so that you can unlock new pages in Anna’s diary, and keeping that in mind, we’ve put together a lit of Dear Diary cheats, tips and tricks that can help you unlock those keys.

1. Accept Free Offers

The first tip is the simplest, and all you have to do here is watch a video advertisement. By watching the ad, you’ll get a free key, but there’s a catch to this tip – unlike in other games, there aren’t a lot of ad videos to watch, therefore less keys to earn by using this method.

2. Use The Time Lapse Cheat

For the meantime, you can use the time-tested time lapse cheat in Dear Diary – the game’s creators have yet to get rid of the cheat, so feel free to use it while you can! As keys are awarded once a day, what you can do here is move the time on your device forward by one day. Go to your device’s settings, uncheck “Set Automatically,” and move the date forward to the next day. That’s going to get you one key, and once you’re done, you can set the time back to normal. You can repeat this cheat as long as it’s still available to use, as long as you need free keys.

3. Pay Real Money To Get Keys

When all else fails – when there are no more ad videos to watch and the time lapse cheat is taken away – that’s when you can pay money to get keys. Fortunately, keys are sold in bundles of five, so by paying, you can get at least five keys right off the bat. Sure, you’ll be paying real cash, but then again, you’ll be supporting Tapps by parting with your cash.
