Dead Plague: Zombie Outbreak Tips, Cheats & Guide: 4 Hints Every Player Should Know

GameSpire’s new mobile title Dead Plague: Zombie Outbreak is the latest zombie outbreak game for iOS and Android devices. As far as the game’s backstory is concerned, a few months prior to the events in the game, the “secret Research Center” leaked out a virus called Dead Plague, and that’s what transformed people into enraged zombie mutants. Fortunately, the BIOCORP organization had prevented the virus from spreading, and that’s where you, the player, come in — you’ve been assigned to their strike team to collect DNA samples and find out how to deal with the outbreak.

As far as the game’s features are concerned, you’ve got a single-player campaign with quests and missions, various weapons and skills you can use to stay alive and survive the zombie outbreak, additional items that can help you take care of the zombies, and of course, different types of zombies with their own strengths and weaknesses. That comes into play as well when you fight in the boss battles, which, as the game claims, are “designed to push you to the limit.” So how can you save humanity from this nasty outbreak? We won’t get into anything too detailed just yet, but read on if you’re looking for a list of Dead Plague: Zombie Outbreak tips and tricks designed specifically for beginner players.

1. Destroy All Zombies

This might seem like the most obvious tip in the book. But we are mentioning it nonetheless, because you should be aiming to kill every zombie you see. You should also be prepared for zombies following you, and in order to lose them, you’ll need to be extremely far away from them. Of course, there’s also the prospect of running into even more zombies. And at the end of the day, the last thing you want is to keep drawing zombies to you when you’re in a tight space. So with all that being said, focus on killing as many zombies as possible, and whenever you see one.

2. Complete The Side Objectives

When looking at your list of objectives, the first one is obviously the most important — it is the main objective, and completing it will guarantee that you pass the level. There are two other objectives, which are optional, but it’s nonetheless recommended that you try to complete them as well. Each optional objective completed would earn you about 200 to 400 cash, and that could be key. But don’t worry about having to complete the side objectives right away. You don’t have to complete them in one go, and you can always go back and replay levels to work on the side objectives. In most cases it’s going to be hard to finish everything at once, and as far as your last objective goes, this would usually to kill a specific number of zombies. Certainly you can’t expect that to be completed in your first play through of a level, but if you have better weapons when you replay the level, chances are you’ll succeed.

3. You Need To Be Prepared For Tight Situations

The first four levels shouldn’t be much of a challenge, but once you’re at level 1-5, you’ll have to deal with narrow spaces and larger zombie hordes. If you aren’t prepared, it’s going to be very easy for you to paint yourself into a corner, and that means you need to have the right equipment on hand to cope with these emergency situations. Dead Plague allows you to buy different types of grenades, as well as mines and adrenaline shots. But since grenades are the cheapest option, we’d advise you to go for them as your best “emergency” item.

4. Optimize Your Ammo Usage

The only time the game will automatically reload your ammo would be when your clip has been fully emptied. However, you can also reload manually by tapping on the clip counter. But that’s where we should tell you that Dead Plague’s ammo system is quite realistic and similar to how things work in the real world. You’re only assigned clips, and to put things in simple terms, manually reloading without firing all the bullets in the clip you currently have would mean wasting those bullets once you reload. It’s important that you make every bullet count, but then again, there may be times when you need to reload on time so you’re not stuck with a large zombie horde with just a few bullets remaining in the clip.
