Dead Effect 2 Cheats, Tips & Guide: 4 Hints Every Player Should Know

Dead Effect 2 is a first-person shooter game by BadFly Interactive for Android and iOS mobile platforms, a console-quality action sci-fi shooter with RPG elements, as the company itself describes this title. We’re really not told much about what the story is, but BadFly says it’s an enticing one. And as you go through the storyline, you can train and develop your character, collect weapons and upgrade them, and also collect other types of equipment, such as “high-tech body implants.” Features also include deep character development, as the game says there are three different personalities, over 100 upgradable body implants and gear sets, more than 40 weapons, and more.

Dead Effect 2 is truly different from the average FPS. And that might mean a lot of getting used to if you’re playing the game for the first time, even if you’ve played your fair share of mobile FPS title. But not to worry, as our collection of Dead Effect 2 cheats, tips and tricks may be just what the doctor ordered.

1. Which Character Should You Choose?

There are different classes in this game, and each comes with their own pros and cons. At the end of the day, it will be all up to you, though you’d probably want to begin with weapons expert Gunnar Davis. Assault ops officer Jane Frey is also a good choice for beginners. As for close contact fighter Kay Rayner, you may want to select her once you’re more familiar with the game, as she is substantially more difficult to use than the other two.

Make sure that you properly leverage the skills of your character, regardless of whom you choose. For example, make good use of Gunnar’s shockwave attack if possible, but feel free to try out his other attacks, especially in the earlier goings when you can still play around and see what works best.

2. Look Downwards When Aiming

When aiming your weapon in Dead Effect 2, it’s best to focus your sights downwards. That way, you have a better view of the screen and could, quite ironically, better see what’s ahead of you. This all points to better accuracy when firing at the enemy.

3. Avoid Auto-Fire

The game also allows you to use the auto-fire feature. Sounds like a great way to keep you from doing much and to allow you to focus on other things, but it actually isn’t. Like many other mobile games (or video games, for that matter), the auto option here relies on very simplistic AI. Turn off the auto-fire feature in the settings and do all the aiming and firing yourself; you’ll only end up frustrating yourself if you insist on auto-fire.

4. Choose Your Rewards Wisely

Another interesting feature in the game is the ability to choose your rewards after successfully completing a mission. That means you can choose if you want additional ammo, or go for additional health or energy instead. You can also choose to give your abilities a boost. So which would you choose? It would all depend on what your needs are at that time, so choose those rewards wisely and carefully.

I agree with looking down when you travel around so you can see where you're going and what's in front of you while playing and it does improve overall accuracy but it does make it very hard to get a lot of headshots if you're using something like assault rifles
