Dancing Ball Saga Cheats, Tips & Tricks: How to Beat All Levels

Cheetah Games has launched a new mobile title and it’s about to change how you see rhythm games forever. Dancing Ball Saga is a unique arcade music game where you will guide a ball as it goes through tiles on a map. It utilizes a unique one-touch control system where you will need to rely on your ears in order to successfully control the ball. Music lovers are in for a treat as each stage is played according to the beat of catchy, memorable songs. You will have to tap at just the right moment in order to score a Perfect. Tap too soon or too late and you will break your streak. The levels start out easy and relaxed. As you progress further, the beats pick up, making it more difficult to complete tasks. It’s a good thing you have our Dancing Ball Saga cheats, tips and tricks to help you beat all levels!

1. Use Your Headphones

Before you even launch Dancing Ball Saga, there is one thing you should do. Make sure you use headphones. While you will be able to play the game without them, it will be a lot easier for you to time your taps if you can hear the beat of the songs. Relying on visuals alone can be tricky. For one, the levels have a lot of animation going on, so you can easily get distracted. The path of the tiles also tends to twist and turn a lot, making it difficult to gauge visually when you should tap. More importantly, the game has awesome beats that any music lover will enjoy. You will be missing out on a lot if you play it on lousy speakers that leave you unprotected from background noise.

2. Complete Your Missions

When you are on the main screen, you will notice a treasure box at the top left. Next to the box is your level. In order to level up, you will need to complete missions. Tap on the treasure box in order to see what your current missions are. You are given a limited time to complete the current missions. When the time is up, the missions will be replaced by new ones, and all the progress you made with the ones you failed to complete will be lost.

Aside from helping you level up, completing missions is a great way to rack up gems. Each mission is worth 25 gems. You gain even more gems once you level up because you will finally be able to open that chest. Missions normally involve completing certain tasks in Dancing Ball Saga such as reaching the 20% mark in a certain level or making a Perfect streak. Some missions require you to play poorly. For example, one mission will ask you to make 10 red taps. If you feel like a mission is too difficult to complete, you can skip it by watching a video advertisement. Just tap on the skip button right beside the mission you want to get rid of. Keep in mind that you will have to be connected to the internet in order to take advantage of the skip offer. The skip button will also disappear from the other missions, so make sure you choose the most difficult one.

3. Listen To The Songs Beforehand

When you highlight a specific stage, its song will play in the background for as long as you don’t hit play. This is a good way for you to get a feel for the song’s beat before actually playing the stage. Since the beats play an important role in helping you hit that Perfect tap, it helps to familiarize yourself with the song beforehand. Once you are confident that you have the song’s timing memorized, you can go ahead and jump into the stage.

4. Aim For Three Notes

Each stage you complete will be rated depending on how well you performed. The highest rating you can get is three notes. This will essentially represent your score in the game. To get three notes, you must hit Perfect taps. The more Perfect hits you make, the faster the notes will fill up. Keep in mind that you can still complete the three notes even if you break your Perfect streak. It is also possible to fill up the three notes way before you complete the level.

You are probably wondering why you should bother aiming for three notes when it does not reward you with anything. You need to complete a stage with three notes in order to unlock the Dark mode for that level. Dark mode is the hard mode for each level where you have to play in the dark. You will have to rely on your memory of where the twists and turns in the stage are. This is where listening to the song really becomes crucial. The beat of the song will guide you through the dark if you paid enough attention while you were playing in normal mode. To access the Dark mode for each stage, just tap on the moon icon on the top left.

5. How To Continue

As you progress in your run, you will be hitting certain markers that tell you how far along you have gone. Once you pass a marker with a flag on it, you will be offered to continue after you die. The first time you continue, it will be free, but you will lose all the notes you filled up. If you die again after your first continue, you will be asked to watch an advertisement before you can pick up where you left off. You might think it is useless to continue if you will lose the notes you filled up anyway. Remember that you will still have a chance to refill those notes if you hit enough Perfects before the end of the stage. Also, some stages can be so difficult that completing them is an achievement in itself. You may need to use the continue feature a few times before you can complete one of the more advanced stages. Lastly, you will want to continue for the sake of completing missions without having to use up another ball.

6. Get More Balls, Here’s How

The game gives you a maximum of 10 balls, indicated by the number inside the heart at the top right of your screen. These serve as your lives. If you run out of lives, you will have to wait for them to recharge before you can play again. You will also have the option to watch an add to refill the 10 balls instantly. If you are really hooked on the game, you can opt to purchase either 50 additional balls, or an infinite number of balls for 24 hours. These cost around $4 so you might want to wait for the balls to recharge instead. The good news is that the balls recharge in just a couple of minutes, so it isn’t really that long of a wait.

7. Temporarily Unlock Advanced Levels

If you are feeling impatient, and you want to try out some of the advanced levels without completing the previous ones, the game gives you an option to do so. Just scroll to the level that you want to try out. If it is locked, an ad offer will pop up. Tap on it and a video advertisement will play. After that, you will be able to play the level for as long as you don’t return to the main screen. Once you go back, you will have to watch another ad to unlock the level again.

8. Dress Up Your Ball

Once you have enough gems, you will be able to draw a new costume for your ball. You can either pull a ball skin or a hat. There are three categories for each: Normal, Epic, and Legendary. The higher the rarity of the costume, the better it will look. You will need at least 500 gems in order to draw a costume from the gacha machine. When you are ready to spend your gems, just tap on the ball icon on the top right of the main screen. You will also be able to equip the different costumes from the gacha screen. Tap on the ball to change skins and tap on the hat icon to change hats. Keep in mind that the costumes are purely cosmetic. They have no impact on your gameplay, but they are fun to collect.

Try to hold off on drawing from the gacha machine until you save up at least 2,000 gems. You will be able to purchase a gold ticket for the gacha machine with 2,000 gems. Using this to draw for balls will give you a 4x chance for a Legendary pull, and a 3x chance for a Unique costume. Since gems can be difficult to collect in this game, it is best if you only pull using golden tickets. This way, you get the most bang for your buck.

It is time to put your headphones on and embark on the ultimate musical journey in Dancing Ball Saga! Just follow our compilation of tips and tricks and you will be raking in high scores in no time!

Get 3 notes on the same level during daytime, and the dark mode/extreme will be unlocked for that level only.
