Zynga’s mobile game called Crosswords with Friends is basically crossword for iOS and Android devices. The game will give you clues to answer the puzzle horizontally or vertically. 1. There Is No Time Limit
The game doesn’t need you to be the fastest one to answer. The winner of the game will depend on who can get the highest score possible at the end of each puzzle. You can take your time and think about your answer carefully. You can also play on your own to sharpen your mind, and hone your skills further before going up against other players.
2. Pay Attention To Clues
The game will give you a lot of clues to answer. If you’re having trouble with one you can pass and move on to the other clues. You can come back to the ones you skipped once you’ve answered everything else. The idea might come to you while you are answering other clues. Make sure to always read all of the clues completely to avoid any confusion.
3. Take A Guess
One more good thing that can help you while answering other clues is that it fills out some letters of the other words making it easier to discern what it is. Let’s say you can spell out “father” with the letters provided by the other answers that you have given. Basically, the more you answer, the easier it is to complete. So, just take your time and work around the difficult words first.
4. Use The Hints
For every puzzle in the game, you will be given three hints. These will help you tremendously in answering but it’s a double edge sword. Using this will give you a lower score on top of costing you a bit of coin. The first hint is the “See Wrong” hint. You will be notified where you made a mistake on entering a letter. The second hint will give you ten free letters on the puzzle. Then last one is “Reveal Word”. The hint actually reveals what the word is. It is up to you if you want to use them or not. Just keep in mind that they give you lower scores, and the point of the competition is to get the highest score possible.
5. Categories And Sneaky Tricks
You can choose a category that you are familiar with to be able to land easy high scores. These change every day, and weekly challenges change every week, too. Do those for great rewards. There is a trick that you can do. You can take a peek of the answer online if you want to get ahead but it is not always advisable. Peeking will take the fun out of the game. Enjoy the game the old school way to find it more rewarding.

I used to see my friends to play with and send/give gifts on crosswords with friends. I would like to know how to get my friends back? When we all updated last our friends were replaced with unknown names?
