There are multiple modes for you to try out, but there is only one goal, and that is to keep winning! Make sure you check out our list of Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team tips, cheats and tricks in order to emerge victorious!

1. Choose Your Battles

There are different types of players on the field, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Since you will be controlling one player at a time, you need to pay attention to the type of player you have. You will also need to think about the opposing players on the field. Use this knowledge to map your route across the field. For example, if you are running as a Toughness player, make sure you steer clear of Agility types. Don’t worry about Skill types because you can easily take them head on. Knowing the relationship of these players types will help you choose which players to avoid, and which ones to challenge.

2. Keep The Ball Moving

Football is a team game. Make sure you are not trying to win the game with just one player. Try to keep the ball moving back and forth between your players. If you keep running with just one player, he will quickly run out of stamina. Try to pass as often as you can without risking the ball. Don’t be afraid to pass backwards, either. This can help throw off your opponent’s focus, allowing you to shake off their defense.

3. Get More Dreamballs

The game has a gacha system called Transfers. As a launching promotion, you can purchase the Get Ahead Transfer promo for just 50 Dreamballs. Since Dreamballs are the game’s premium currency, it will be difficult to collect without spending real money. You can get it for free from missions and daily tasks, but the best way to earn more is to simply go through the Story Mode. Specific parts of the Story Mode will allow you to watch a cutscene and will reward you with a Dreamball. Keep playing and watching in order to get enough Dreamballs for Transfers.

Right now, the Get Ahead Transfer is something you need to take advantage of. It guarantees one SSR-ranked player. This is one of the rarest types, so getting your hands on one will literally help you get ahead. Keep in mind that the sale is only available within your first 30 days of playing the game. Rush the Story Mode in order to get the Dreamballs you need to make this game-changing purchase!

4. Use Full Power Football

The Full Power Football is helpful, but it requires that you fill up the FPF gauge before you can use it. Don’t worry because the gauge fills up fairly quickly. Use Full Power Football as often as you need to, and just fill up the gauge again afterwards. There is no point in keeping the gauge full if you are not going to use it anyway.

5. Save Your Special Skills

Unlike FPF, special skills will take its toll on your players. These are useful skills that can turn the tides in your favor when used strategically. Unfortunately, it costs a lot of stamina. If you are not careful, you will end up creating an opportunity for your opponent by exhausting your player. Make sure you know what you are doing before using a special skill. Poor timing can easily cost you the entire match.
