1010! Cheats: 5 Tips & Tricks to Get a High Score

1010! is an addictive puzzle game developed by Gram Games, which is available for Android and iOS devices. According to the developer, it’s the type of game you can play “within 30 seconds to train your brain,” regardless of where you’re located at the moment – at work, school, on the bus, or in the metropolis. Your objective is to drop blocks “in order to create and destroy full lines on the screen both vertically and horizontally,” and to avoid having blocks completely fill your screen or play area. Gram Games also says 1010! is quite simple, but to be honest, it can be a huge challenge for newbie gamers. With that in mind, we’re now bringing you these 1010! cheats, tips and tricks to help you get a high score even if you’re new to the game.

1. Create Rows And Columns Alike

Don’t stick to creating vertical lines alone, or merely horizontal lines; you can actually make both, and this is one of the simpler things you can do to beat your original high score and move on to much greater things.

2. Don’t Be Afraid To Have Multiple Pieces On Your Board

Your first instinct may be to work on one row or column at a time, but some have said that it’s better to take it easy and have the board loaded with pieces, while waiting for the right time to remove more than one row or column. If you decide to focus on one row or column alone, that may leave you with too many empty spots and no place to stack the big pieces to.

3. Save At Least One Empty Spot For The 3 X 3 Square

As you may have noticed by now, 1010! has a few elements of that classic puzzler Tetris, and just like in that all-time great game, the square piece can be a real nuisance to deal with. That’s why you need to leave at least one empty spot on your board to accommodate the 3 x 3 square; two spots would be better, but as long as you’re prepared for the arrival of that piece, you should be good.

4. Also Save Space For The 5 X 5 Square

This is an even bigger square piece that you need to be wary of, so you may want to make sure you have some empty space available on your board to accommodate this bad boy once it appears in a level.

5. Practice Makes Perfect

Yes, this may sound like a no-brainer of a tip, but when it comes to 1010!, the secret to success, and arguably the most important tip to remember, is to practice regularly. This could help you hone your strategy, so don’t give up if things aren’t going well in one game – just restart your game and learn from your mistakes. Soon you’ll be racking up high scores, not only beating out your old ones, but possibly those of your friends as well.

What are we supposed to do with those three little circles they’ve added to the game at the end. They appeared, but with no instructions.

@Janice, my thoughts exactly. I know one of them is a back arrow that if you wath ads (in my cae) you can undo the last piece. I don't know what the double arrow (broken circle) does. Would love to find out, though.

It can take a long time to get to high scores, like over a 100000. I would like to see bonus point for milestones. Say 10 for reaching 1000 100 for 5000 500 for 10000 1000 for 25000 5000 for 50000 10000 for 100000 And so on. Also bonus points for clearing the board. Say 10 if cleared with least then 1000 100 if between 1000 and 5000 200 if 5000 to 10000 And so on.
